Bioware,

I had a dream...seriously....last night a had a dream about a system tha will allow player to choose wich character they desire to unlock, besides the ramdomness...
In my experience in ME3 multiplayer until now is this one....
I already bought about 50+ Veteran pack and the same amount of Rookie ones... I got the Salarian, the Turian, Asari and Quarian...got Widow, Mattock ando so on...but Where is the Krogan Soldier That i was so anxious to play... thats some frustrating thing....
I already read every complain about Character Unlock random system... and many os us, players, are not happy or completely satisfied with the system...
So....here is the idea...

How about give us, also RANDOMLY, Cards that alow us to unlock one character of on specific column, besides or replacing the actual random unlock system... The example below shows it better...

1 Blue Card --> unlocks one character from the 1st or 2nd Column
1 Silver Card --> unlocks one character of the 1st or 2nd or 3rd Column
1 Golden/Yelow Card --> unlocks one character of the 1st or 2nd or 3rd or 4th Column

The cards also can give more XP to an already unlocked Char...

IMO this system will not require much work... its just another item in the actual unlock system, that will alow us some CHOICE betwen the randomness Chaos...

Thanks...:)

It's still nowhere near as bad as people make out.

I prefer if everyone in the Starter Pack could instantly have a chance to unlock ONE character/class of their choice. Keep the unlock system the same.

That's a pretty cool idea, another thing they can do is make another pack like recruit and veteran, called the "Race pack" it will be maybe 50,000 credits and it will give you 1 random race.

How about you wait and see how the system works for the full version, with the full assortment of unlockable items before you offer your advice?

This would be great. Most people don't like the random unlock system because they can't get a hand on their favorite character, and this would solve that.

The system really isn't that bad, it's just some players are unlucky and that's very frustrating I can imagine.

I hope that they atleast have decency of unlocking gender options. I'm all good if they do.

Thats the idea.... With the card system, its simple as they give u an Yelow/Gold Character card in the first Pack... So u can unlock any char at the start....:o

Do that and you will kill diversity in the Multiplayer population.
From what i've heard, everybody want to have an asari or a krogan.
Wee, an other match with all the same setup.
The randomness help to make thing more diverse.
To be honest, i wanted an asari and got a krogan. Didn't want a krogan, but tried it and was hell of a fun.
Then got a salarian. Didn't want a salarian, wanted an asari. Salarian was fun to try and play around. Then got a quarian...
(and then stopped playing, as, well, no need to got so far in a demo ;-) )
Think it is the same for a lot of people...
Would have never played those class if they were not random gifted...

-Why not just make it so you can buy something specific for an crap load of creds. Makes sense to me instead of confusing and such.

There are some chance of killing the diversity?? Maybe....
Or think linke this...u like to play a Asari, i like the Krogan, other ones like the Turian.... So the diversity is still there... the main difference in this system is that I am who i choosed to be... its not imposed by a random system....And after i get sick of playing that char ill leave MP for good?? Of Course not....There is also an Krogan Sentinel!!!!:D.... kidding...

They can just add some part of the system though....like a Very Rare or rare card that unlocks one Char... And all the randomness remains intact... but there is a chance of receiving that card and unlock anyone i want...

Think about it....^_^

It is a fine idea in theory, but it could turn out to be as bad as the existing one if the cards don't come up often enough. Like you receive several cards for one column, then you have to keep waiting to unlock characters from other column

This.

A for effort and originality (also for using a dream as your main source for this idea is super cool) but the game is already gold.  The system will stay the way it is.  There is a dev post stating that it will not likely change. (from Jarett I believe)  I don't mind it, as it allows me to have something to look forward to for a longer period of time.  If I'm able to unlock all the races and weapons I want asap, then that appeal is lost quickly. It also makes it more awesome when you finally do get that race or weapon you've been wanting.

I  do intend to sacrifice a lamb for the RNG gods though.

@robarcool... Think this way... Everyone has an list of preferead chars... Why not let me choose my favorite char at first yelow card i get?? And about the randomness... Like it happened to me... Actually In some time u will receive an random alien char... Imagine the possibility of that char is the first in your prefer list...
