Rank 5- Increase Melee Damage 50% or Power Duration by 40%

Rank 6- Shield Strength increased 50% or 1 Offensive Power while Adrenaline Rush is active

Are the Melee Damage and Shield Strength only applied when Adrenaline Rush is active or are they always applied?

Pretty sure it's when under Adrenaline Rush. Because it's not a passive after all. If you look at the second upgrade of each of the rank you can also cleary see they are when the skill is use not after or before.

As far as I'm aware, such bonuses are situational to the power they're linked too.

That said, do the visual bars have additional green chunks when highlighting say, melee damage or shield strength? If they do then I'd guess it's a perm-addition.

I think the shield strenght is bugged.

It seems like what it does is restore 25% of your shield. Doesn't give you a flat bonus and doesn't seem to make you last longer when you pop it.

If it is the melee damage one only seems useful to a commando soldier... oh well now i know that me upgrading my Adrenaline Rush past 4 is pointless.

I don't like AR in multiplayer. I do just fine without it. Concusion shot is where it's at.

Shield strength +50% functions as shield regeneration -- Much like Vanguard charge.

If you go for it you will definately not want duration bonus.

Or you do like me...35% weapon bonus for 7 seconds...raise my total weapon bonus for 62,5%

As it also gives you shield boost on the 6 level...if you want...I picked the second power usage

I found the perfect solution to Adrenaline Rush's glitches and alround tardiness... I literally just don't use it.

My Soldier:

Mantis VI
Carnifex IV
Maxed Concussive Shot (Shredder as we have no non-organic enemies in Demo, though I'd probably use Amplification in Main Game where Geth and Husks are enemy factions...)
ALMOST Maxed Nades (3 Frags, increased damage, can't decide between AP and Overload Shot...)
Fitness Rank 4 (for the extra health and shields and bonus melee damage)
Alliance Rank Whatever (Honsetly can't remember but...)

At Level 12 he does quite well... I've noticed that Frag Grenade seem to have a lower "Recharge Speed" than Sticky Grenades (like if youi go to an Ammo Boxn you get Nades refil about 3 seconds later but Sticky takes forever..)
