No, its great. I love it when entitled elitists become petulant and use ad hominem attacks. It destroys their own arguments.
it depresses me to know that idiots like mettyx resort to this language when they really have no ground to stand on. to quote Harry potter "words are in my not so humble opinion, our most inexhaustable supply of magic, both capable of inflicting harm and remedying it".

Personal insults do not equate to ad hominems, despite popular belief on internet gaming forums. I have no love for the OP and his constant raging in this forum, but I get so sick of people claiming ad hominem when it doesn't apply. Nothing personal against you, just a passing comment.

Actually the worst problem with ME3 multiplayer is horrible animations, just compare it to how people move in Battlefield 3.
This is just shi*tty cherry on top.

Oh, I always thought it was defined as personal attackss in order defeat that persons arguments.

Do I need it? Nope, it's just a minor annoyance, the rest of the game more than makes up for it.

It's the use of a personal attack (crassly worded or otherwise) in lieu of actually adressing the argument. As in using a proposed personal trait of the other person to circumvent their argument and invalidate it.
However, simply saying "They fuc*king talk all the time you dimwit..." is just a personal insult, and while profoundly rude, is not an ad hominem fallacy.
This following quote however;
wow, you must have really low standards, why don't you just ****** off,
you are probably a console peasant with standards that low.
Is more in line with the ad hominem definition, but then again only loosely in my eyes, as the poster he was quoting wasn't really presenting an argument, not a solid one in any case. Regardless, he attempted to shoot him down not by discussing why he cared, but rather by just assuming a personal trait and attacking that.
If that was the quote you were referring to, I apologise, but given the context of the quotes, I assumed you were speaking of the line quoted in your post.

Have you compared how people move in ME3 mp to how people move in Battlefield 3?
You really aren't concerned with the horrible animation, you have no standards at all?
The same fu*cking company that owns Bioware gave Battlefield 3 that animation tech.

You know in BF3, they move like l33t kiddies jumping and shouting "LOLOLOLOLOL", because the game is played in very twitchy way. And the way they strafe and just float while they move is very unrealistic. Just look from spectator mode... jeez.
