Am I banned or is my account corrupted?

It might not be a ban per se, it just might be that your account became corrupted due to your Modding inovativness, or very simply that your save is not readable by EA Servers.

With something that has leaderboards I can see them laying the ban hammer down for cheating. How about don't cheat?
Regardless I hear bypassing the 120 limit can be triggered accuidentally. Which worries me. It is stupid that you cheated, but getting locked out of every EA game for it is beyond stupid.
Totally off topic here but I love your Lightning pony.

Why does this have anything to do with EA? The OP was banned for cheating in a demo. That hardly sounds like coporate malciousness to me.

Nah, the opposite is the case. No sane person would enable anticheat protection for the demo. The second it is public people will start to circumvent it. As for now EA just collects statistics, useful or not. Fact however is, they are watching, i saw scoreboards rang 600, gone within the day. Would they not care about cheating, these scores would remain, as would OP's account. And with a bought game, he would need another $60 to cheat again.ShykeX wrote...

Both is altering of game files. One is an allowed procedure, the other is not. Whether done in text editor or hex editor is of no relevance. Nothing is allowed in ME3, so anything done to files is illegal, and should end in ban. Rules are rules. The correct way to handle this is to ask them to change rules, not to keep the so called "private hacks" a secret.MrAtomica wrote...
Modding =/= hacking.
But hacking = modding.

OP:
There are only two ways (at least in this kind of file structure) that you could have accomplished the feat of getting a higher N7 level.
1. You changed the amount of total experience that multiplayer characters can acquire, then added some extra levels to the level strings.
Oh, and one last thing. A responsible modder understands that you NEVER come on a public forum and ask a self-incriminating question like this.
"(Level=21,ExperienceRequired=2500001,TalentReward=6)" ], "maxplayerexperience": [ "2500001"
Then find maxplayerlevel for MP and change it to 21 also.
Oh and its funny that everyone seems to act like this is some huge deal for me :D
It must have been some amount of big deal since you registered for a forum to post and ask am I banned when it is clear you have been and rightfully so as stated actions have consequences and that silly argument that "ohh others did it too" is an old and childish one that is always given the response "well if they jumped off a cliff, would you do it too?". Frankly nobody can or will be sympathetic to this as many more players adhere to the ToS and rules for the Bioware products and don't try ruining others experience of the game by cheating/modding/hacking but rather by putting in something called effort.
PS- For those saying that banning went to far the Bioware team could have just simply taken the character this OP created and have the gamescreen locked to have the OP view their character being violated by a Krogan and then and only then would that be going too far.

Or you modded your save and it's corrupted.
Either way, you're an idiot. Personally I'm hoping you are banned from the real game, but more than likely it's a corruption problem, and you'll be able to play the real game just fine.

Lol, who the hell cheats on a leaderboard for a Demo that's restricted to an N7 rating of 120.

Apperently there are quite a few people. I've seen quite a few numbers from N7 rating of 150 up to 999, but only for few days till the banhammer comes.
