Sooner or later we will all know about the game, The leaked beta and storyline already appeared online so by your logic we should all know about it already...
Some of us avoid articiles like this so that idiots like yourself won't spoil it for us!

Someone please lock at delete this thread, even just reading the title in non spoiler forums ruins it for people

I never read the leaked script or watched the leaked beta.
I want to keep ME3 as spoiler free for myself as I can.
The Prothean honestly would have been spoiled before you played ME3

No it wouldn't, i wouldn't have looked up any info on it so that when i was deciding to buy it i could be pleasantly surprised, stop assuming everyone already knows as much about the game as you do. I don't mind spoilers but keep it in the right forum ffs

The Prothean squadmate is a pretty well-known fact.
There's even xbox live DLC already.

^ Maybe so, but there are still people that would like to be surprised when playing ME3 for the first time, and don't seek out every little "well-known fact" beforehand. I am one of them.

Honestly, that argument is irrelevant because the squadmate is DLC, so sooner or later, you'd know you'd be having a Prothean because it would show it on the DLC card/page

I can't believe you can't see how ridiculous your argument is. Soon enough everyone's going to know everything that happens in the game anyway, so why not post spoilers wherever and whenever we all feel like it, right?

The forum says "No ME3 Spoilers allowed" for a reason. You are not special; you don't get to make your own rules.

Since it's DLC, you would probably not see one if you don't look for it specifically.

If you guys don't like spoilers now may be a good time to leave the forums. Around this time was when people were getting copies of mass 2 and posting spoilers all in the titles of new topics. Be warned. The mods weren't fast enough then, I doubt they're any faster now.

Shouldn't only Shepard be able to understand him? Maybe Liara too, if she got part of the language when she melded with Shepard.

I actually look forward to Liara's comments on him. Like, really. She gave 50 years of her life to Prothean research. Must mean something to her.

Hey BW, since the cat is out of the bag, can we at least get a name for him? Callin him the Prothean just seems racist.

I think there won't be any reactions. In Mass Effect 2 you could take a geth (!) to the citadel and the quarian fleet and except a few sentences nothing happend...

I knew this stuff already (thanks to a previous spoiler on the NO SPOILER board, grr), but believe it or not there are people who remain unaware (and wish to remain unaware until release day) of Prothy. Can we please talk about this stuff on the spoiler board, or at least say *SPOILER ALERT* in the thread title, as well as changing the thread title so it in itself isn't a massive spoiler? Pretty please?

Actually no one knows what the Protheans looked like. So most likely people will simple think it is an unknown race helping you. At the most they might put together that he looks a lot like a Collector, but most people haven't seen one of them firsthand either.

How is that implying everyone has a 360?  Whether on Origin, Live or PSN, there is going to be a description of what the DLC consists of on its page.

Oh yeah, how silly of me. I forgot that the translator had an update to include 50,000 year old, dead languages.

Really? Because I had no damn clue about it until now. Thanks a lot for that.
