I really like the vanguard build with restore shields after charge. It saved me many times. But I have been lusting after the Asari adept build because stasis is great to use. I saw a single Adept stop etire waves with this when we all died.. She was amazing. The player and the character.

The only class I have not found really fun was the warrior. I only have a human so..

So to the question, does the asari unlock only come from Veteran packs?

thanks

Yes, the other characters (other race OR human) can be unlocked by the Veteran, it's all down to luck though, I opened around 30 veteran packs and I didn't unlock a single character.

I have the asari adept but not the vanguard. Loving the adept though, stasis is made of multiple levels of awesome. Hopefully character unlocks won't be so hard in the full game. I've only unlocked the salarian infiltrator and asari adept so far.

And going with a one weapon adept build just to see if I can spam endless waves of biotic explosions.

I got my Asari from a vet pack. Turian an salarian as well. Your best bet is to play silver to round eleven and buy two vet packs after each game, it's how I unlocked my races and customization options for them.

I got my asari adept from my starter pack, you can get gold cards from any pack but I think there's a higher chance using the veteran pack, but then I got a widow and salarian infiltrator from the recruit pack so it's hard to say.

I've been fairly lucky with Veteran packs so far and unlocked the Asari adept last night, having already unlocked the Quarian engineer (lots of fun) and Turian Sentinal (meh). Stasis does rock, and it's with the Carnifex it's easy to rack up headshots.

Part of the fun was in getting there though, going in with ME2 preconceptions of the classes I thought I would like the Turian more than the Quarian. My Turian Sentinal is lvl 10 while the Quarian is 18. Strategic placements for the flame turret are allot of fun, although having enemies in Stasis is a bit easier to rack up headshots than when they are panicking from catching fire :)

I got bored before I unlocked anything. Hit level twenty without unlocking anything more than a claymore, and Poopie Pete is an engineer so, not very useful.

Yeah, got my adept to lvl 19 and vanguard to 18 without unlocking any character at all.

Have it. Love it. Infiltrator's Cloak may seem a bit cooler to use, but it's no match with the Stasis Bubble in raw perfromance and versatility. Definietly the best skill in the game. Right before the Tactical Cloak.

Asari Adept + Stasis Bubble + Carnifex as the only weapon (+scope & damage bonus mods, 30% lighter heavy pistol perk - 200% faster skill recharge bonus is made of pure awesomness) = Epic pownage and sea of headless corpses.

Fixed.

Although it sometimes needs the Locust SMG (better than Tempest IMHO) to help the DD's and tanks take down the shields of these nasty Atlases, especially on Gold with some noobs in the team trying to strip them down with a sniper rifle.

Add every point you'll have left to Warp and with this bulid you can easly single-player through bronze challenges.
