My N7 Ranki is 57, and my main character is a level 17 Infiltrator.
Not to sound noobish, but I really am not getting exactly how the N7 Rank is calculated, because I've played with a couple people whose rank is higher, and have outscored them. Also, I typically come in 1st or 2nd. So, is the rank based solely on scores, or how well you do compared to the people in your group, or both?
Also, I looked at the leaderboard, 13-14000 or so overall, but how does the N7 rank factor from that?

Isn't it based on total level of your characters?

Everytime you earn a rank no matter which character/class you level up in rank. In total it's 120.

well thats not a very effective way of telling whos better then who. I mean i can jump in a friends game while they are in round 9 and help them finish and get points like i was there the whole time, whats even the point of leader boards then everyone will be 120 eventually then how do the rankings be decided, by who got there first or alphabetical order?
