The Viper needs a buff

If you could buff the rof with the viper to be higher, it would really balance well, I like the idea of being able as a non-infiltrator to be able to have long range pain, without needing to worry about the irking reload as much, especially as buggy as it can be, and not having to choose the widow because its weight can kill classes regen.

It does bother me. And I have the Carnifex.
When a pistol has better all-around stats than a sniper rifle, something is wrong.
Just because it's OP and you have it doesn't mean it's fine.

It does bother me. And I have the Carnifex.
When a pistol has better all-around stats than a sniper rifle, something is wrong.

It wouldn't if we had the ME2 ROF for the Viper

OK. I would like to see the Viper's rate of fire increased and the recoil decreased. Maybe increasing the magazine size too (back to 12).

IF you want the old ME2 Viper, stick a scope on a Mattock. Not quite the same, but very similar.

I have yet to unlock the carnifex, but the stat does look quite insane.

Keep in mind this:

Weapons that would be horrible in multiplayer might be great in single player and vice versa.

Because the Carnifex's low ammo count isn't really an issue in multiplayer, it is amazing. Actually the Paladin is even better because it does more damage, but its even low ammo count is mitigated by the ammo boxes. But use it in single player and you'll wish you had a different pistol.

Unlike COD, weapons are directly ported over from single player to multiplayer with no change in stats so things may end up becoming good or bad.

Well like I said when weapons are directly ported this way without proper adjustment, some weapons are near guaranteed to be outclassed.

If anyone is suggesting a buff or nerf on weapons at the moment, it should be solely for multiplayer only.

Revert the Viper to how it was in ME2 and it's mission accomplished as far as my Infiltrator is concerned.
