I have had a few requests on how to do this, and while it isn't very hard, there are quite a few steps involved.  I posted instructions on my blog, please feel free to comment here or add things as I'm still learning as well.

This worked perfectly for me, thank you! Only my lack of skills with the morph feature is letting me down now, my PC is a bit fugly.
 
 edit - although I am now unable to give any of the gifts in my inventory to my companions (weird), and am unable to leave camp. Haha. Never mind.
