The outcome is more important than the method used to achieve it.

Read the books, they have connections to Terra Firma. Also, how do you feel about groups who aren't anti-black but pro white and want to preserve white nightborhoods and white heritage?

 Hahaha.  Yes, totally harmless.

Like pro black groups who totally arent anti white?Right?

There were many rational people who fought for Hitler.

Because they had to?

Most of the "good" ****'s joined U-Boat crews, since they aren't seen by anyone else. Then they would just tell British/American ships to change course to avoid the Germans.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to decent Germans who served in Hilter's military without being Nazis.  And they served in many places besides the U-boats.

For a good memoir on the subject, might I recommend Soldat: Reflections of a German Soldier.  1936-1949 by Siegfried Knape and Ted Brusaw?

I'm looking at it on Amazon.  Looks like a case in point of the Milgram experiment.

Ordering.

Anyway, supporting Cerberus isn't hard if you have an eye on the big picture. Even if the Reapers go down in military defeat the galaxy is going to be changed radically. Humanity's best hope to survive is to have a position of dominance when it is all over. Certainly controlling the Reapers would ensure that. We could control the rate of change and ensure that we had no one to threaten us.

So in that sense, I support TIM's goals in ME3 completely. The way he's going about it... not so much. I'd want to have all those anti-Reaper weapons and alliances as a back-up. You know, just in case.

Idiot ball, bad writing.

And the journey is more important than the destination, yes many of us can come up with quotations as a justification, but if the method requires sacrificing who you are, then whats the point.

As I said in another thread, renegades accuse paragons of wanting to be able to sleep at night, yet they themselves do the same thing by saying "the end justifies the means."

I'm still laughing about the "jews in space" comment.
Too funny.
And not in the way the OP thinks.

Id rather keep the council system as is. Not perfect, but a single species domination will nerver remain uncontested.

One of the greatest heroes of the american special forces, a guy who was more or less portrated by John Wayne, was a Finnish soldier by the name of Lauri Torni. You know him as Larry Thorne

He fought the communism in the finnish armed forces, as a member of Waffen SS and in Vietnam. He is a legend.

And your ignorance is staggering on the Uboat crews. Their life expectancy was 60 days during the end of the war. Noone, and I mean NOONE volunteers for such a ****ty job. Its ****ty enough as it is being in a tin can. Its more ****ty to realize that the last two months of your life will be spent in one before you see cold water pouring through the bulkheads.

Cerberus fans are stubborn, and insane. OP. There's no point in pointing out their flaws, they'll just keep on denying. The best thing to do is shake your head, and silently look down your nose at them.

I don't suppose you'd care to point out something said by a "Cerberus fan" that you find particularly "stubborn, and insane"?

Bad spelling is easily ignored until it's a totally different meaning.

/agreed.

The only reason why the Alliance can dictate anything right now is because they're in a position of power. The Council recognised this when they sided with the Alliance over the Batarians.

But post-ME3?

Even if they win, the Alliance will be in ruins. Easy prey for slaver and pirate gangs, and any of the major powers that are in somewhat of a better position. If the Turians retain a lot of their power, the Alliance may become one of their 'client' species like the Volus.

(Not neccessarily the Turians, just an example of what could happen).

And with the genophage cured (if it is) - the Krogan will multiply and multiply and within a few generations the galaxy may be looking at another galactic war if Wrex dies.

Even if the Krogan don't rebel, the galaxy will be in such shambles that it's going to be chaos for decades/centuries to come.

The Humans need something to ensure some form of power because after the war, they sure as hell wont have a viable military able to project their power that far.

Cerberus may not be doing what is wanted, but they're doing what is needed.
