Hi everyone!

I'm currently a level 11 rougue with lots of loose ends to tie up and two sorely missed opportunities (e.g. completed the Nature of The Beast before trading with the Mad Hermit and completed Warden's Keep with only one chapter remaining in the Ancient History quest. ARRRRRRRgh so angry !!!!!!I ).  Anyway, is there any other way  i can get the Ancient Elvish Helm from the Mad Hermit????? Is it in the locker behind him??? 

My other concern with the Mad Hermit is that he did not attack me after i reached into his tree stump and got the golden ring. Is that right??? Take note i already had completed the Nature of the Beast quest when i did that.

I'm afraid once you've completed Nature of the Beast you can no longer trade with the Hermit nor provoke him into a fight be rummaging through the tree stump. And the Helm can only be acquired through trading...

There will most likely not be a "patch" for something like this. It's not a bug. Even if it were, there is an actual bug that has existed on the PC since release making acquiring the boots impossible without a mod (they aren't in the cabinet in Lothering's Chantry), so I doubt this would get any attention even if it were a bug.

I can sympathize with making such a mistake, but if it were me and I REALLY wanted that armor set (one of the best looking in the game IMO) I would just start over. Level 11 is nothing really. At least you chose to do that Blight ally relatively soon after starting, rather than as the last one as I do (it's the least enjoyable for me).

There are a a few medium armor sets, but none with the same look, unfortunately =/.
