Mako wins vs Geth Colossus

[...]
The Hammerhead would blowup just trying to take out a Cerberus Turret. Nothing destroys Geth Heretics better than a Mako. Mako forever.

You can actually semi- goomba stomp geth Colossi with the Hammerhead (jump high enough and just fall down onto it, - that may be an physics bug);

Just that you're toad toast as soon as anything shoots you in the process.

-so yeah; Team Mako ftw!

I love the Mako.

Sure it was a pain at times to get where you needed to go but that is true of vehicles in this day and age as well.

I swear a lot of the problems are caused by people not using the map to find a proper route. Instead they try to go everywhere in a straight line.

Ever since I drove the thing into a Geth Colossus I was in love..........It just charmed me. It was its own character and didnt deserve the hate.

I played me1 recently and it wasnt even that bad to control!

**** THE HAMMERHEAD.

I loved the Mako. Never understood the hate for it. The experience of exploring the galaxy via the Galaxy Map and the Mako really connected with me. It brought my little kindergarten dreams of "I wanna be an Astronaut!" to life in a very vivid way, haha. I wish all cars were that indestructible  :P

I don't understand the hate for it either. It steered quite well in my experience, similar to many racing games out there combined with occasional shooting and jumping :) It was OP though ;)

I love the Mako over the Hammerhead, but those Thresher mauls are a pain. 1 hit kill? No! Load ancient save aka the start of ME1.

"

When I visited all those planets in 2008, it blew my mind. It had never been done before and was completely "next-gen". I know some people didn't like them so much, but considering the tech they had back then it was more than acceptable.

I hope ME4 works more on this. Being able to land on planets and explore gives the sense of vastness.

The planetary missions exploring with the Mako were wonderful. Such a sense of wonderment and discovery, felt almost like a Rover simulation. (which have actual issues handling terrain).

Ah see I hate them, almost as much as planet scanning.  The worlds are so bland and boring.  I just load up Mass Effect Wiki and use the map image to plot the quickest route around all of the items.  I even use a console command to give the mako more thruster power, as well as teleport occasionally to get around on foot quicker ha.
