I have problem to bind powers and equipment to custom slots (1-8). I try to drag them by pressed mouse button 1 and it doesn't move. Any bypass? Devs should add an option to set that out of combat.

As far as I know it cannot be done on the demo, full game? anybody's guess.

Although it is not what you asked, if some of your abilities disappeared that is because you switched character in a lobby. It's a common bug.
