I wish there was a Krogan vanguard...I know there's a sentinel but it feels kind of odd to have a tech-biotic Krogan, don't you think? Then again a biotic-charging Krogan would be odd too, I suppose....

I was disappointed, too. Particularly given how lackluster the drell variant of the class is.

They don't have to give them Biotic Charge. Not all Engineers have Combat Drone for example.
I assume there will be a Korgan Vanguard in the full game without it honestly.

but wouldn't a Krogan Vanguard be also lackluster when compared to the human/asari one? To create a true "Wrex experience" this char should have

- Pull/Throw
- Warp
- Some super-duper exclusive biotic/combat power
- immortality as passive

That immortality deal didn't help him much on Virmire then.

Hate to be this guy, but source? I've been a proponent of Wrex knock-offs for awhile, but I haven't encountered anything that hinted at this existence.

My krogan soldier has about 1000 hp and 1200 shields compared to level 20 vanguard.... + fortification adds another layer of protection and if you get to rage you are unstoppable... so imagine biotic charge, nova and fortification and go just with shotgun=== super fast recharge= out of shields? charge!
nova would be pretty strong and the krogan melee is effective phantom blocker

Drell is amazing if you know how to play it properly and I'd rather have the Asari Vanguard (that's going to be awesome) than a Krogan.

Krogan are too fat to move so fast anyway.

Man.. Krogan is already ridiculously strong with Rage, and its super backhand attack, and you wanna add a biotic charge as well? Man that would be a sight to behold.

Gutted as well. Though to be fair, if there were Krogan vanguards there'd be no need for any other class or race. There's no problem you can't solve with a Krogan to the face.

What's funny is by function/and lore Kaiden and Wrex's classes are flipped


Kaiden being one of the most powerful human biotics *not on par with Gillian or Jack* well that depends on what a stable L2 has the potential to rival Asari Biotics actaully means... is that low rank Asari or Asari commandoes eh screw it

anyway Wrex always function more as a Juggernaut using his Biotics to make his shields too durable and last longer not really pulling wizardary... Wrex prefered to shot things

Kaiden was always bombarding the enemy with offensive skills.


though the image of Wrex shooting across the stage in a red blur-cause Wrex is awesome and red means his three times faster... but yeah the charge damage would be insane

This. Even though i would love to play one, they are rare and are usually officers of the krogan military. They are not some random soldier they would send on a near suicidal mission with 3 other people.
