Then again a biotic-charging Krogan would be odd too, I suppose....

No, it wouldn't.  Plus if it was they could just do what they've done to all the other races/classes and make him incapable of charging...

Krogan Vanguard just makes sense, the lack of one isutterly shocking.

I think it was through in-game dialog with Wrex in ME1 where he was labeled as "the last true Krogan Battlemaster". So if Wrex is the last, how can there be more?

He's not. There were some Battlemasters during ME and ME2. The one during Liara's recruitment mission in ME was a Battlemaster. Gatavok Uvenk was a Battlemaster. Weyrloc Guild was a battlemaster, an maybe the one during Garrus's RM in ME2 too. The one in Jack's RM was a battlemaster, and probably one Blood Pack leader in one of the Blood Pack N7 mission was a Battlemaster too.
In ME there were some other krogan battlemasters in Saren's army, but I think they didn't have a name.

This one thinks the lack of Krogan vanguard is really really strange, since you know. Them ost famous krogan is a vanguard.

The contrast is that, in MP, we're not playing galactic legends.

Since we're talking strictly from a lore standpoint, let me counter the most of these points by asking, how many Krogan did you see tossing biotic abilities around? And, of them, what was their rank and stature?

If you noticed, go back and look again, the chief examples of biotic Krogan are the battlemasters, which are the leaders of the culture. Wrex, even while on Shepard's team in ME1, was still already a leader of his people and several centuries older than the tank-bred, the mercenaries, and Saren's army, which I would assume actually is the rank of Krogan that the ME3 Spec Ops group would come from. The other example is the "boss" from Mordin's loyalty quest, who uses Barrier and I think tosses a few Throws around. But that's really about it.

And as for Barrier...Krogan Soldier has Fortification. Same thing, different skin.

Why is canon even an issue for multiplayer?  It's friggin' multiplayer.

Well, in MP you're playing as the common soldiers of the various race's army. Krogan Battlemasters are generally the clan's leadears or high-ranking members, not cannon fodders. It's the same with Salarians and Turians, that use biotic users in special missions, and not as common soldiers.

Because it's still Mass Effect, I reckon.
Others may have a different opinion, but personally I do like consistency in a franchise, regardless of where I see it.

I agree. It would make more sense to have a sentinel Drell than a Vanguard Krogan. Granted I do not want a Vanguard Krogan to have biotic charge but they can come up with something cool as a primary power.

The problems with Vanguard Krogan are so apparent its ridiculous.

What is the one restricting factor for a Vanguard? Its durability. A Vanguard's killing power is only limited by the fact that it is higher risk than other classes. Krogan mitigate that risk. They are twice as durable as the baseline human classes.

Where does the Vanguard thrive the most? In melee. Where does the Krogan thrive? In melee. Krogan Vanguards would make every other class useless with the amount of damage they could potentially do up close.

The Krogan race's high durability and melee capabilities are balanced by the fact that they are very slow and clunky. What is the Vanguard's second biggest strength? Their mobility. Vanguard's are able to move around the battlefield without walking or running. So a Krogan Vanguard would lose its one weakness if it got Charge.

Now you ask "well what about if we don't give it Charge?" Then why would it even be a Vanguard? If its a biotic using class without Charge, then why isn't it an Adept?

You guys are suggesting sets like Barrier/Reave/Throw. If there's one class that set fits the best, its actually the Sentinel. Armor, defense stripper, CC. That's a Sentinel set up, not a Vanguard set up.

BioWare thought about this long and hard. They didn't pick the classes and races as is for no reason at all. They made these decisions methodically and saw how it would effect the game. There aren't going to be additional classes and races at release, but I guarantee that the blank spaces will be filled in the future with DLC, without a doubt.
