ArenaNet has just announced that they've opened a page for beta signups! This is music to the ears of fans who have been waiting for a chance to get into the world of Guild Wars 2. The signup is only open for 48 hours, so act now to get in line -- it closes at at 18:00 GMT on Friday February 24th. < Copy and pasted from an article on massievly. I signed up but can probably only run it on low but still excited for it. Click it to get to beta sign ups. It may not work right at this moment. This thread is now for discussiong Guild wars 2.

I considered signing up for a few seconds. Then I realized it probably wasn't a good idea to use this as an excuse to demo the game.

Help them iron out the bugs for launch. It's an MMO so it's going to have a ton. If it runs for me then that's what I'm doing. I'm also looking to see if it will run and at what settings. Usually just playing helps give feedback. Don't demo it as in don't look at it as a final product but if you can play it and want to then you should. It's a beta so they need all the testers they can get.

Okay I signed up. If only because I've been on the fence with this game for an eternity and want to see it in action. I'm not sure if my PC is up to snuff, but seeing as it's a relatively new purchase it probably is.

Possibly and it's a beta so what better way to test out the game and find bugs

I'll sign up as soon as get my new power supply tomorrow which allows me to put my graphics cards back in. My current replacement graphics card is not worthy.

I think they said if you can play Guild wars 1 on high then you can play this on at least low.

I'm not worried about meeting the specs. I didn't even check them before signing up. Truth be told, I signed up with the expectation they won't drop me a line. I have lots of studying to do for an exam next week, and I rather use my free time on something other than squashing bugs and checking a game out.

I still haven't so much as blinked in the direction of the ME3 demo, to give you an idea of how apathetic I tend to be about these things.

All the classes actually look fun. In Wow I just was never interested in more than a few but I may make one of each if I can run it
