So a Phantom just stabbed/one-hit my Salarian Infiltrator on Gold (wave 10) while he was cloaked when I went to revive a squad member.

I know enemies can detect you if you get too close to them but I always got away with cloak-reviving team members when there were enemies around with little to no damage, even among Phantoms. So this was just totally uncalled for and really scary when the Phantom initiated the execution animation. But it was kinda badass at the same time. They really don't mess around, eh?

I'm really curious to find out if anyone else has gotten stabbed to death by a Phantom while cloaked...

I have been phantom sniped with biotics on Gold wave 6 not once but twice. Talk about cheating.

I noticed that if you are cloaked and within a certain distance, enemies can pretty much see you. If you listen to the troopers they're like, "ENEMY CLOAKED!". I'm guessing the phantom was camping your friend and you got too close.

From what I can see, the AI seems to be smart enough to track you if they see you cloak. So, if you cloak out of their sight and then move in, you should be fine, but if they see you engage your cloak, they're better at tracking you. Probably like we are. I see a Phantom cloak, I'm going to be tracking that little shimmer of death until one of us isn't breathing any more.

Yeah. Freaking phantoms. The ease with which you can dispatch them with stasis though really makes me think it is way too powerful. You shouldn't be able to damage enemies when they are in the bubble. It would still be incredibly useful.

lol, that's hilarious. Haven't had that happen yet, thankfully. I usually have no problems dealing with Phantoms with my Vanguard.

Watchout, it has happened to me. I will not use Nova with them, because it strips my shield and it means one hit kill for them.

No you Ragequit when you get ressed and then get perma killed instantly by the same Phantom that put you down in the first place.

Watchout, it has happened to me. I will not use Nova with them, because it strips my shield and it means one hit kill for them.

The trick is to roll backwards immediately after performing Nova so as to keep your distance.

phantoms = annoying

I always try to stay away from it (agreeing with satirist and including nemesis) but I notice the barrier is more susceptible to overload than warp. Is it a bug or is it deception on the phantoms' part? (cuz if it is that's crazy good tactics they got thar!)
