Lighting causes black triangles. Why?

I seem to get some rather strange results when using the lightmapping function. I get these black triangles on the floor and I'm not sure why it's happening:

It looks like the black triangles occur between floor models. Is it something wrong with the lighting setup, I wonder? or a limitation of the models meaning the intersections will have to be covered up? :?

I have a static point light, an ambient baked light and an animated light in that level. Could it have something to do with the position of the lights in the room?

I have the same though mine are in the corners, I wonder if it's to do with your roof (I use the same one)

edit: I actually wonder if it's caused by multple lights from different angles all set as able to affect the character, I changed all my light sources to do that and I got some VERY odd shadows and dark areas in strange shapes and all sorts a moment ago.

for me the problem only occurs in the toolset, ingame it all seems to work just fine.

when i get weird results after the lightmap, i close the level and reopen it and the level looks normal again. i think it is a graphic card memory issue.

Black triangles strengthen the atmosphere of any original roleplaying experience... just say'in.

It looks like a variant of the "terrain seams" bug. There's a new version of the lightmapper that may fix that problem: http://social.bioware.com/project/717/

I still get the exact same problem with EclipseRay 1.2

It might have something to do with the flooring because I get it with those same floor tiles, but nowhere else. And I do all my lightmap generation in Single Player.

Think BioSpirit has an app that postprocesses the lightmaps to remove that (to whatever degree).
