Did anyone else think Garrus's voice sounded... off in the demo? He's always had a bit of reverb but this sounds downright echo-y. At first I thought it was a problem with my speakers but everyone else sounds normal.
Garrus's Voice?

Didn't sound off to me.
But I could be mistaken, 'cause I was too busy throwing up my dinner in disgust.

It's because of the helmet he's wearing. Try setting Teammate helmets to Standard/Default.

I thought Wrex sounded a lot more strange.

Only in combat because those are actually Wreav's lines. The Wrex outside of the combat segments sounds like he does in ME1. In ME2 he got a different voice filter.slyborg wrote...

It was a bit more tinny than I remembered.

I thought Wrex sounded too nice and proper, lol. When Liara walked in he was all, "there isn't anyone I would rather have along for the ride". He better not be trying to bone my blue babe!

It sounds like they applied a little more of the filter effect.
But only just so.

For me Wrex and Garrus sounded normal as always, but Mordin sounded a bit different.

That's because his VA was replaced.

Please don't go joking like that. There's no way they could find someone who sounds that much like Brandon Keener.Random Jerkface wrote...

Ah, my bad. I figured RJ was replying to the OP since he/she didn't quote anyone.Dr. rotinaj wrote...

The new voice for Mordin sounds quite similar to the original Voice though.

I also noticed that Garrus had an echo-ey voice in me1. In me2 it sort of vanished and in me3 its back.
