I'm just wondering if we'll be able to fight against other real players instead of NPC's? Does anyone know if this feature will be available? Personally I think 4 players vs NPC's is boring, thus it would make it more challenging to battle against real players instead of NPC's. This could be an awesome starting point for ladders and tournaments.

I won't even bother finding a source. It's been said time and time again that PvP MP will not be included in ME3. Plus balancing classes at that point would be nearly impossible.

No it isn't.
If you want shoot-other-players multiplayer, there's the door leading to several companies who do it better. In fact, EA/Dice have a game that does that already, it's called Battlefield 3. It's also in the Frostbyte 2 engine, so...go there.
ME3 MP is not for that.

I'm already playing that game lol. In fact, I'm the Game Director at FN for that game and co-worker for battlelog with is supported by DICE/EA.
Anyway, I just think ME3 will be boring if we can't play other players... I'm REALLY disappointed now.

Wow... yeah no. Adepts with stasis will win every time. This game is not meant for pvp. If you find coop boring, try the story mode when its available or just don't play it.

Your "competition" is in completing the various difficulties with various classes and races with various people. A game doesn't have to have team deathmatch to be a worthwhile experience.

No. Balance is nowhere near as big an issue in PvE as it is PvP. If Bioware is smart they will never touch PvP as an add on. Something that work intensive would require its own release.

The truth. The simple mention of K/D is bringing the scum of humanity. Griefers, campers, spawn killers, leavers, leechers. I have see too many objective games ruined by this.
Just use your time and ressources to improve the current coop multiplayer.

You must not have played ME1 and ME2 then. If you can't believe it, then there's something wrong. This isn't a religion. They have two amazing games in the series that have sold fine. More than fine. Admirably. Neither of which had even any competition in them, be it co-op high scores or PvP.

well dont worry there wont be any pvpthey even said that its sticking to the rpg telling just bring more people with you on the mp part

thats good you can go enjoy cod and make sure you dont come back unless you want to work as a team against ai, now mind if they do enable pvp it will be either geth, cererbus and and or reapers if they do allow it you would have to be ai, but you dont get any biotic powers since we havent see any cererbus ai use any not to sure on what they will do with the other 2.
