I'm at my wits end.  My DLC isn't available for download.  In fact, no DLC is showing up.

I bought the game on steam and have followed the directions on registering the game.  All is working on that end, but nothing shows up in game for DLC.  Not even stuff I havne't bought yet.

I noticed the packages look like they are downloaded as the .dazip files are in my all users folder.

When I manually try to install them I get an error saying it must be off of c:\\ drive to install. And that there's no room on my drive. But my drive has a ton of space available for it and I'm running as admin on win7.

I opened a ticket with EA support and so far they haven't responded.  They said they would respond by yesterday but still nothing.  Yes I've checked my junk mail folder.

I really can't continue my game until I get the DLC that should have been baked in the game to begin with. Once gain EA's attempts to thwart pirates and renters has only hurt those that are legit buyers of this game.  Besides I can't resell a Steam game so why on earth was this a requirement for steam?  That's more rhetorical ranting, so no need to answer that, but if someone could help me with getting the DLC downloaded and installed I'll be happy.  I've already wasted sevearl hours trying random things that people on the Internet have said to do...including teh EA official FAQ steps.

PLEASE HELP.

These are mostly user to user help forums. sometimes BW chimes in, but if you really want BW, you have to contact tech support but you will get EA as EA bought BW up

Been there done that. EA isn't answering after two days. I'm hoping someone at Bioware responds. Maybe if I flag this as abuse it will get their attention.

I doubt that you read the information regarding DLC troubleshooting. Its fairly simple, install game, create account on bioware social network, launch DAO, login, check downloadable content, select your add on, download, wait for it to extract then install, logoff and create a new game.

One thing to note: In case you didn't notice (I didn't until a few minutes ago)... this is NOT the official support site for the product. There is a thread at the top of the forums called Official Support and has a link in the first post to the official support site.

I do see people from Bioware posting here occasionally but, since this is not the official site for support they may not respond as quickly so, I thought I'd point that out for you people. I didn't notice right away so, I am thinking maybe some of you have not noticed either.

Good luck.

Falsely flagging your posts for abuse IS abuse. You'll get attention for it, but I doubt it will be the attention you want. It will most likely be the BioWare website crew that would respond to your report of abuse, who probably wouldn't take it lightly that you're abusing the abuse report system.

As already stated, BioWare doesn't provide official support for the game, EA does. It might take a few days for them to respond considering their support department provides support for tons of games, not just Dragon Age.

I contacted EA support a week ago and have heard nothing back.

It is also misleading because on their "official support" site they have a tab that says 'forums' which leads directly back here, so this *is* the only support forum that exists.

Oh no...Bioware may think I'm abusing their forum because they won't support their buggy game. Get real.

But if it gets attention at Bioware then great because EA has no way to communicate to them about this game. They link you right back to this forum. And if you try to do the live chat...they'll keep you waiting for around 40 minutes until it's your turn to chat and then it just kicks you out. Oh you can send email to the abyss if you like. But at least here you can communicate to others in your situation that yes Bioware has gone downhill since EA bought them.

You can doubt all you want.  I've been through that UNofficial thread several times and attempted the fixes at least twice...sometimes three and four times. It just doesn't work.  And if it was so simple, why does EA and Bioware have official updates on the PROBLEM?

Have you tried the Steam forums? Can you get into the game at all, and if not have you validated the install through steam? Are you logged into the acct within the game? And is that acct the same e-mail you registered with?
