Is this normal? I first thought the game crashed and killed it. Howeverr I started it, went to the bathroom, and came back to see the first screen. The next time I tried I timed it at a 4 monute wait.
4 minutes to load?

I thought that fix was for dual core processors, but I will give it a try. I was lucky enough to get an AMD Phenom II 720 with a functional fourth core to unlocked.

If any program is taking 4 minutes to load, you might want to defragment your hard drive. Either use the default Windows defragger. I use Auslogics Disk Defrag personally, although my system drive is an SSD, my Origin folder is stored on my regular 7200 RPM hard drive. Another thing I've noticed is that if you have a 5400 RPM hard drive, this also takes more time to load. Although most people don't use these hard drives for their system drive unless you've got an old laptop or something.
