What they're doing with the From Ashes DLC is not right. They're charging extra for something that should be included in the retail price. If I'm paying $60, I expect a complete game. I'm completely fine with paid DLC that comes out down the road, it's nice to have a reason to return to a game. I'm also fine with certain content being tied to an online pass. It encourages people to buy a new copy so the developer can actually profit from the purchase. However, when a company intentionally cuts out one of the most vital races to the lore, and expect you to pay 10 dollars extra when it was developed at the same time as the rest of the game, they've crossed a terrible line. I'm doing the one thing I can do and voting with my wallet. EA/BW needs to be shown that this is not acceptable.
Thanks SilentJ1987 , we all really cared whether or not you bought the game. Congratulations on your creation of a fabulous new thread that contributes nothing.

I had already cancelled my pre order with gamestop because I was more interested in just downloading it from PSN for the exclusive thememereck7980 wrote...

I don't care one bit - if you don't think that the 30+ hour game you'll be paying $60 for is complete then more power to you, just don't act as if you're making some sort of stand against an injustice, because that's just bull****.

But all this talk about the moral wrongness of day-one DLC is just silly. The product can be sold and divided up however the maker chooses to sell it. Also, this is nothing new. DA2 did the same thing with Sebastion.

BSN is so typical and predicticable. I love it. One popular youtube video, of a guy who not only made mistakes in his video (like the sound track bit) but also is overacting over a character that isn't as important or required, is made and people flock to it like ants to sugar.

how is it not right? they give it free to the N7 people (as it has been stated this is what it was for) and then charge those that didn't buy the N7 10$. I fail to see how this is wrong in anyway as it was designed to be a bonus for the N7 edition.

You know what's not funny? Bioware charging extra for a Prothean, when the fans that are most dedicated to their franchise will no doubt buy it because they'll want insight on the Protheans. They are taking advantage of their most loyal fans to make a quick buckYuoaman wrote...

So that's all it takes for you to not buy it?
Honestly I don't care that you aren't buying the game, however I just ask this.
Did you ever buy something you totally didn't need or knew it wasn't worth **** but you brought it anyway?
I'm willing to bet the answer is yes.
