Hurts to say, but not getting ME3

This is part of what some are spending an extra $20 dollars for with the N7 edition. Why should those, who chose to buy the regular version, be entitled to it at no extra cost?

Mob mentality and easily persuaded people led by the hand of someone else. Entitlement and knee jerk reactions.

It's a bit cliche, but what else do you want me to call it? BioWare was much more sincere, genuine, and could be considered the best developer to exist at the time BEFORE they were bought by EA. I know a lot of you guys love BioWare's games, and I understand that, but you shouldn't support them for that sole reason. Try to look at the ethics behind it, people.Phaedon wrote...

Shame really, i get the feeling you'd need special sunglasses to see the faces of the bioware staff these days.

Renting so no money for Bioware/EA from me. Tough choice if I were a PC gamer though...

It's because the Protheans are a huge part of the Mass Effect lore and depriving a Prothean character from those who don't fork up an extra $10 is a dick move by EA and Bioware.

Because when you buy a game, you should be getting the whole game and not the cut version ?AresXX7 wrote...

Some years ago, such practice would have been unthinkable. But the sheeps which accept and further shady business practice makes it profitable, and we'll get more and more of these "game in several pieces you have to pay for" thanks to them...

Why not? As long as they continue to produce quality games, I will continue to buy those games. I have yet to be disappointed (Yes, I liked DA2). And since I do not mind paying for content that would normally not be included, I will continue to buy DLC. If there is DLC I do not want (and there has been) I will not purchase it. That simple. This 'ethics' stuff people keep talking about is just nonsense.Dionkey wrote...

I agree with you wholeheartedly, but the blind Biodrones on this forum have lost what BioWare was about and now simply follow a brand name. They're the same kind of people who have no concern about the integrity of the gaming industry, and only care about giving their money to play games.
Ultimately, whatever "Bioware was about" is not really relevant. I've been buying Bioware games since KotOR because they're entertaining. If ME3 ceases to fill that function, I'll stop buying Bioware games.

Of course, that'd be too hard wouldn't it? You'd have to throw away your iWhatever, put a brick through your television, and actually get off your ass and do something instead of post on a forum complaining about the so-called immoral actions of a company you enjoyed to this point.
Otherwise, in the immortal words of any given Planescape character of seedy reputation, pike off. Don't like it? Don't buy the game. But you're wasting your breath posting this on the forums for the hundredth time.

If you shell out for a special edition, you understandably get a bonus. In this case, it's a bonus that other people might want, so they offer it for less than the difference between the standard edition and the special edition.
Again, not seeing a problem here.

So they do something nice and make it available to people who didn't buy the CE so they don't have to go looking for an extra CE floating around and spend more money than they have to so they can experience optional content...... and people still complain.
And if Bioware gave these people a chest full of gold.... they would complain that is was heavy.
