That's exactly what I'm working on. Trying to see if I can pull it off on my first playthrough. Did you do lots of gift giving for Morrigan or mainly boost her fondness with gifts?

Actually it works all the way 'til Morrigan decides to leave with the God-Baby, but that's still no reason to exhume a 4 month old thread.

Well, I dumped Leliana first when she ask which one of them I want, then after Leliana's main quest, I tried my best to impress that lady back lol (w/ gifts of course). Trust me, it works. Don't know why, Morrigan never complains about it. Guess she gotta live w/ it, huh?

It is possible to retain or rather regain the affection of both girls and keep them in a love approval rating.
Here's how:
Get them both up to at least adore, hold back the mirror from Morrigan, and hold back on the 'are you feeling better about Marjolaine dialogue, then go talk to Leliana. She will give you the ultimatum and choose her. Then go to Morrigan, she gives you the whole I know what you're going to say spiel, blah, blah, blah. Give her the mirror and say 'it's just a gift for a beautiful woman' her status will return back to a girlfriend type rather than platonic. Then talk to Morrigan again, she will give you the ultimatum and choose her.
Then go to Leliana, get the breakup dialogue out of the way and talk to her about how she feels about Marjolaine. Choose We need to talk, Are you feeling better about what happened with Marjolaine? then the appropriate path about her ever loving someone else or similar and hey presto they're both yours until Morrigan runs off with your Demon baby... (so to speak)
My HNM pulled that off with a hardened Leliana AND married Anora, also keeping Leliana as a lover after the coronation, lol.

Actually she doesn't like it. She gives you the speech 'I notice you've been spending a lot of time with that girl...' and 'acting the jealous wife' which is quite amusing. They all do it.

I found it easy to romance and sleep with both of them (and also Zevran) with one character, though Leliana asked me to choose out of her or Morrigan (think it happened one time when I went into camp without talking to Leliana, so I don't think it can be avoided), in the end I chose Leliana.

I have been trying to master them both and tried many different ways. It is not possible to date them both. it is possible to sleep with them both however after a while talking to Morrigan or Leliana will make them ask you to choice between them too.IMO Leliana is the type of woman you can date and settle down with. where morrigan is more of a "Hit it and quit it"

Um, dating isn't exactly what I would call what happens in DAO: if you would call running away screaming from a horde of darkspawn a date, then I suppose anything's possible... anyway, let me make this perfectly clear: it is once two love interests reach adore approval that the crap starts to hit the fan. 71+, I believe.
