235 pages. I hope this backfires on sales as well and they rethink the decision on something like that for future releases.

It won't. The only people that this has bugged are the loyal fans. This will not affect the sales of casuals or anyone who doesn't diliberatly search for information on ME3. That is why I think TB's boycott is both pointless and dumb. You shouldn't be boycotting a game you should be boycotting the method and market by not buying the dlc itself. Also it doesn't help that alot of responses from his video were people saying they were going to pirate the game. He is only fueling the fire nothing else.

How the hell TB's boycott is pointless and dumb? He doesn't support the way the game's content is being sold and won't buy any of it, it's that simple. He is a fan of the series, but will boycott ME3 because he doesn't approve what EA/Bioware are doing with the franchise. How is this dumb?

He didn't fuel any fire, he made a rant about something that he considers an issue. He expressed himself like we are doing here. The difference is that he made that on his public youtube videos.

Why did you all lie to us saying that when it was leaked a few months ago you guys said its not part of the game anymore. If you had finished the game then finished the DLC then why as it announced a long time ago when the game was still in progress.

I agree and I don't agree, like anyone in TB's position you have to consider your words carefully, he is a publicly(internet) known figure, it's just my opinion but a statement like "I will still be getting this game but NOT purchasing the squad member and mission DLC" would have been a better way to go about things, as it stands now, many people are getting the wrong impression that it's an "incomplete game".

The loyal fans are also equally divided as well.

I am a long time fan that wouldn't be afraid to legitimately call them out on somthing that was BS, but I find this whole day 1 DLC moanfest just that.

And as youve stated your opinion should be everybody elses too.Or its whining or a moanfest or people just must feel entitled.Your opion is right and everyone else who dissagrees is wrong.

I also hate English.

Cool then you probably shouldnt post about it.

Because it wasn't part of the game, it was now DLC.

But did they drop both of them?!

The height from which they're dropped and the mass of each ball also matters.

I thought some people might be interested in this - having noticed Jessica Merizan, BioWare community Manager, posted it on Reddit.

What is your personal opinion on the day 1 DLC situation- do you believe it is acceptable?

If that isn't really a question you can answer, then what do Bioware think about the reaction in the community to the announcement of the day 1 DLC?

jessicamerizan wrote...

I think there's a lot of misinformation out there and I wish the guy who made the initial video about it would have had an open mind before jumping to conclusions based on a leak we weren't ready to address. Since I'm a BioWare employee, I know people won't automatically trust me, but I hope people will consider that it wasn't cut content from the larger game. I was in Edmonton when we were finishing the game in November/December and I was in Edmonton again last month when they were working on the Day 1 DLC. It definitely was only possible to do because the main game was in certification (which means we had to wait for people to test it and make sure everything was good etc before we could get the greenlight to sell it). I also played the game WITHOUT the DLC in my first playthrough and honestly, it's an awesome addition but I was more than happy with what I was given in the game. It's bigger and more expansive than ever. Of course, I understand the concern but I hope we can all have an intelligent conversation about it and cover what the facts are in this situation.

Hope that helps a little bit. This is an awkward format to answer this question, but I know I could explain it if you were sitting next to me on a couch with some coffee/tea ;)

They dropped the massive balls that ME had from Orbit just like the copies they launched into space. So they destroyed the balls would be a better way of putting it.

Im not going to cancel my preorder im not going to boycott anything....but only because its an ending to an amazing story. Now I have defended Bioware numerous times but after ME3.

Im saying my goodbye to Bioware untill such a time it can show that it can market and sell a game responsibly.

pretty much.
none of us so called "biodrones" have any issue with you boycotting the DLC or even the game it self, we just take note when people say that from ashes  was content removed from the actual game for the sole purpose of selling it as DLC to milk as much money as they can, which is simply not true.

I will enjoy the base game as it is, and may end up buying the DLC. I will watch as the boycotters eventually collapse, just like they did for L4D2, Call of Duty, and everything else. We gamers are pathetic when it comes down to it. If we want something, we will buy it. You can deny it all you want, and if you manage to stick with your ideals, more power to you. Just don't expect everyone else to follow you to the end.

The people you are directing this towards don't care.  They are either too arrogant and stubborn to alter their argument or they have ceased to care and want nothing more than to watch the company burn.  This has been shown, among other evidence, constantly, but nothing has changed in how the arguments are presented.

The few who actually have had the real issue at hand either get their posts buried or have just given up against the few who continue to go at this in the wrong way.

Nobody cares about certification, it's about refuting the erroneous claim that the Prothean is ripped content from the main game.

No, I accept other's viewpoints but I expect them to be able to logically back them up and not resort to namecalling.  If that is the case, then yes, you are wrong.
