I think people would be more civil if people stopped ignoring facts and making ad-hominem arguments.

This. They won't because they are too ignorant to make arguments for or against, and resort to blanket statements and lack of evidence.

MS, Sony, and EA servers (Can't forget the PC players).  It costs to maintain the servers and deal with the energy costs of running them.  It's not like they build a server and leave it to it's own devices until they decide to shut it down in 4-5 years.

Hopefully this doesn't turn into that of the Demo thread. We were told we'd have more details on Feb 7th as to if there would be items to unlock in the demo for use in ME3, and it never happened.

I can only hope the details on this one actually drop.
