When you buy a car do you get a price list with optional extras before purchase Yes you do.
But you don't when you look at a game box.
It's clear you have never bought a new car.
I've bought quite a few.
When I look at the different models a I can see what the features are. Only a car with all the features is complete, the others may do the job of being a car but it won't be the same experience as the complete car.
It's all there in black and white what is on that model and what is not.
I want to know when I look at a game box what is missing from that complete experience.
So what you're saying is they should list the books, the comics any future planned DLC's and all the previous games too on the box? If it wasn't that you used the pound sign as I would assume you're a dumb American and can't logically think for yourself.
Books and comics are not part of the game future DLC does not exist on day 1. Is it really that complicated?

That's just your experience though.
Reading some of these people have been quite thoroughly programmed.
Wound you be any happier if he wouldn't be released before May/June? I doubt it.
And I haven't been programmed, I just realize BioWare and EA aren't non-profit charitable organizations, and that if I want something, I have to actually pay for it. Doesn't mean I like it - trust me, I'd very much like to get extra stuff for free.
Game developers, I'm sure, would also like to get paid. And, you know, eat. That doesn't happen unless they make games and DLC that sells.
Also, the Biodrone references are starting to get old.

You understand that game developers make much less working on the game industry than they would if they were working on pretty much any other industry with the same skill set?

I don't care as far as I'm concerned I'm well within my rights as a consumer to know what I am getting before I hand over the cash. If a game is missing 3 pieces because of day 1 DLC I want to know about it.
On a wider moral note I also want the casual gamers without internet access to know how they are being ripped off.
How is that anything to do with the consumer ? I never called you a biodrone I just said you had been well programmed by the propaganda.

Any backlash from this won't be felt in ME3's sales... it'll only impact the stock of their next games.
ME3 was the only thing keeping them safe.

That’s no reason for such unethical behavior. and I am sure
devs are not the ones which made this stupid decision.

EA has the worst and most aggresive marketing tacktics in gaming. The do what other companys dont have the audacity to do. As they read and can see MANY fans have an issue with this DLC .I dont think enough fans will cancel the pre orders for EA to respond or rectify this situation. If i were EA i would release the next 2 or 3 DLC for free . Im personally tired of all the DLC EA does .
You would think that looking at ME3.
KOA was like this.
class pack (pointless stuff that makes the game easy) DLC
House of Valour (all the game extras) Online pass.
Nothing wrong with that as far as I can see (well aside from if your not online) if you want a game advantage you pay for it. If you just want the removed content its with the online pass.
Thats a game published by EA.

Bioware said your game isn't missing anything. It's up to you whether or not you believe them.
To me, it's like charging extra for parmesean cheese with your pizza. It's nice, but not necessary. Only time will tell though.
Oh and if the casual gamers don't have internet access, they won't get your message.

The information on CE, DDE and SE has been abundant (granted, as far as I know the bit about needing online pass for the multiplayer wasn't clearly stated, so that's on them - again, if I'm wrong, please correct). I did an informed choise when I ordered the CE. If you didn't check your options when you had the chance, it's not really BioWare's fault, now is it?
