Yes this is the CE character, you just have the option to purchase it if you did not get the CE for ten dollars

I didn't mean it like that, more that prothy seems to be a vanguard like Wrex. And afaik, you don't need to recruit Wrex for finish ME.

Ah got it.  Still don't agree with the other part, but yeah, it's a safe assumption that he will be some sort of Vanguard.

It is and has been advertised as part of the CE for a very long time, the only difference between then and now is prior it was listed as additional character and mission, now people know what both are.

I'm wondering it it's essentially the Prothean version on the Collector Heavy in ME2.

Well, it's structure suggests it to be an AR, and that is further reinforced by having Prothy (a squadmate) use it, while traditionally Shep has only been able to use Heavy Weapons.

Two points.

First,  when EA goes bankrupt,  and they will before too long*,  the IP's will be sold seperately.  The rights to most of Bioware's work will revert back to Hasbro and Lucas Arts.

Second,  anything going to Bethesda would be a major disaster.  They only know how to make one game,  and they *really* suck at it.  They've been making the same game for 15 years,  and each iteration has fewer features,  more bugs,  and the bugs are bigger.  Further,  they aren't to be trusted,  they're do not play fair. 

Regardless,  I'm pretty confident Bethesda's going to follow EA into bankruptcy.

Honestly, Gatt, I'd rather Microsoft buy BioWare than anyone else. Not EA, not Bethesda, not anyone. Just Microsoft.

Actually we knew then too, but Chris Preistly used creative truth telling to cover up that we knew.  The original announcment for the DLC called it 'The Prothean.'  This was quickly replaced wit hthe more generic 'Extra cahracter and mission'.

Are people actually bothered by Chris trying to cover up a major spoiler? Futile, sure, but I'm not upset that he tried.

This DLC is listed on the description of the CE is as much as we know so far.  Since all the ads say it is, I'm going with yes.
