Does the Prothean even has a name or he will always be called Prothean?
Now, is that Yah-Vik or Jar-Vik.. I prefer the silent J myself..

The comparison is more akin to new game versus GoTY Edition that includes all of the DLC released 6-12 months later.
It's not like the different versions of each film was released at the same time and people either had to watch the standard version or pay and extra $10 on the spot to see the extended edition at the same theatre.
No we are talking about content which was cut during production. GoTY editions mostly add stuff which was made after production.

There is enough to make it reasonable doubt. Considering Biowares record on DA2 I would look out of the window if they told me the sky was blue.

Ok, how about this example then (not wrriten by me but a much more clever person on the Xbox Forums):
You and a friend go to a burger joint. They have the same simple menu of a Burger ($1), Double Burger ($2) and Fries ($1).
Your get the single burger, and your friend decides to splurge and get the double burger. Then, after the orders are placed, the restaurant informs you that they have left pickles off the single burger but they will come on the double burger. To add to the frustration of being told after the fact, you are also told that they are sold out of double burgers so the only way you can get pickles is to pay $.50 extra for them. You have now paid almost as much as your friend has, but your friend has a burger that's twice as big. Now, when you protest this policy, the cashier informs you that pickles are optional and are not required to enjoy the burger. It's only a necessity if you happen to like pickles on your burger. Both of you still get the fries for $1 (the content that's the same between all editions of the game) but your friend has a core burger that's clearly better then yours even though you paid almost as much (regular game with DLC is $70, N7 is $80 and comes with tons of other items.)
To compound the issue, your friend then argues that you're in the wrong because he paid an extra dollar for his burger therefore he's entitled to pickles and you're not, even though you have paid the fair market price for a burger that normally comes with pickles everywhere else.

First of I am not your friend and I do argue that I paid extra and so should you.
The burger analogy is nowhere near complete. Pickels are an optional flavouring component, there are some who don't like it (like me) and have then removed from their burgers. Not all burgers come with pickels, you can verify this by looking at a Mc Donalds or BK menu, the owner of the place might have decided that the flavouring component of pickels isn't needed on the single burger as it isn't the taste they're looking for. But for the double burger they decided to go the all out wammey and added pickels plus a bunch of other sutff.
Fact if you order a single burger and you got a single burger, as advertised. I ordered a double burger and got a double burger, as advertised.

You've made the assumption that the game is incomplete without the dlc, which it isn't, it just makes it a more satisfying meal. But you still have your burger in its complete form.

And it's still true. Not one of the many anologies presented actually uses something without a unit cost attached.

Just ignore him, he's just a little baby yelling out random stuff which he believes are fact and ignores everything anybody sais otherwise. I WAN'T MY DLC WEEEEEE! CE BUYERS PAY $20 EXTRA AND THEY GET IT FOR FREE! I WANT IT FOR FREE AS WELL! WEEEEEEE! Ignoring the fact that the physical stuff was probably made by a Chinese man for 2 cents a piece and it costs a whole team (people who need food and thus get paid) over 3 months to make the DLC.

aww...and i liked mine so much:innocent:
"The way i see it between consumers and developers/publishers is not unlike an unending tug of war.
both sides want to win the advantage on this tug of war, the best deal as it were.
Sometimes one of the sides helps the other by lending some rope, if this happens on the developers/publishers side is when they want to reward the consumers by giving them a better deal for a lower/no price, if this happens on the consumers side is when the fanbase is loyal enough and willing to buy more of the products even if overpriced.
However when each side pulls the other too hard you risk disaster for both sides, if the publishers/developers side pulls too hard and the opposing side, the consumers, "lose" the developers/publishers passed the breaking point and made their customers lose faith in their business practices losing them in the process.
If it were the consumers side to pull hard enough, the developers/publishers would lose the tug of war on the account of losing money and ultimately filing for bankrupcy making them unable to create the products their fanbase loves so much.
That's at least my perspective on things and as for me personally think that right now the rope's length is longer on the developers/publishers side and as such i'll pull harder in order to try and stabilize it.
others may see it differently however and i respect that."

So mature.
Can you come up with any other example that has no unit cost ? Or are you reduced to whining?
If you really think that about the hard goods in the CE you are even more naive than I previously gave you credit for.

The patch costs $0.28 if ordered in batches of 2000. Bioware ordered 1000000 in one batch, you do the math.

Look up the rest of the items yourself, you'll come to a price of about $1, I told you this 100 pages ago.
