I wanted to stop by and gently remind folks on here raging about an extra ten dollers for video game content that lasts forever with a few of the following things :

A value meal at McDonald's is between six and eight bucks
A foot long sub at subway will run you roughly seven dollers unless it's a five dollar footlong
A steak burger and fries at a local chain restaurant like ruby Tuesday's or applebees will run you between nine to twelve dollars


All of these things are optional purchases that you don't need. They will run you roughly around the same cost as this dlc. And unlike this dlc, they're all only able to be enjoyed once, maybe twice if you take some home.

It's an optional purchase offered for roughly the same amount as lunch. You can either buy it, or choose not to. No one will judge you if you choose to save your money and eat at home. Just don't get mad at the company for offering it, nor those folks on the bus tour who are eating for free. They aren't. They payed in advanced.

yaaaaaah... not alot of people are gonna understand this fact.

Gamers are strange people. Tousands, maybe over millions of people downloading pirated copies of games every day. Gamecreators being robbed every day. And people dare to complain that they charge prices around 10-15 USD for an DLC? That really belong to the Collectors edition. It is not the game creators who are greedy, it is we who play the games.

Look on to it from the game creators side for once..

They choose to charge for a job they do?

Do not you want to get paid for a job you do? After you clean? fixed? delivered something?

For me it is not strange at all.

I'll 1-up you. Start outrage about something trivial (which turns out to just fine btw) and say you're goign to boycott it. First day of relase.

This whole thing is pointless, why is everyone STILL ****ing? Bioware obviously is not going to Change it. It is Exclusive to the CE and they decided to release it Day 1 instead of Day 30 or 60 for about the same price it would cost on day 30 or 60 at around 10 bucks. You probably pay more than 10 bucks a day getting breakfast on your way to work and lunch during your lunch break,

lol sorry to sound daft, but...... the alt. outifts with from ashes's are different to the collector's editon alt. outifts? yes?

Correct. There's alt outfits from the CE plus alt outfits From Ashes.

Ahh, I see. If I am not a "true fan" then I don't deserve a full game experience. I get it now.

You dont get it, what i meant was a true fan wouldnt wait 5 years they'd probably not wait 5 weeks, maybe a year for the Game of the year edition with alot of the DLC but not 5 years

The problem still exists that I can never own DLC even if I pay for it. If I am a "true fan" and buy all the DLC I can still lose my access to it once Bioware no longer hosts it. Give me an expansion pack disk. Then I can use it whenever I want.
