So they lied. I guess no surprise there.
They have my money, so that's that. Between Origin and this, I shouldn't have bought ME3.
What I'd like to see is Bioware/EA saying "Sorry, we lied, we effed up. It was an experiment. Won't do it again."

I've been reading the feeling around the net. Mostly from people who didn't get the collectors editionBrotkrumen wrote...

I really wanted to buy it after my CE got cancled, but I just in all good feeling I can't give them my money. Maybe until the price drops and I can make up the DLC

I recommend this DLC to any fan of Mass Effect, especially if you play in the long-run. It's not something you want to miss out on, even if you don't want to support 'Day One (charged) DLC.'

Having said that i think people should go easy on Bioware with all the crying going on they will probably never release fast DLCs again , even if they have them ready for launch which to impatient people like me who want as much content as possible for my games would blow.

For those who have played the DLC, how important/relevant is it to the plot of the overall game? I hear it's only half an hour, but I'm still curious as to how much of an affect it has. Don't go into detail, just say how important.
not so much as relevant to me3, but it's like they could of used this guy to go with a BIG story against fighting the reapers since he's ALREADY DONE IT BEFORE....
the dlc in general is just HUGE HUGE HUGE backstory of the prothean fight against the reapers/lore about the prothean society and how they ruled the galaxy in their cycle. It was quite entertaining but he should of not been dlc and been a critical compoent to the story in defeating the reapers, now your other squad members are like WTF is that thing ?? and shepard goes " its a prothean" and everyone's like ok cool.
WHAT YOU MEAN OK COOL!?!?! he's over 50,000 years old and now just accepted as another race.... ffs we are building a certain thing made by certain people to beat certain this and that and prothean is IRREVELANT.... :-(

Do we have a verdict on this DLC then?
Don't know about " we ", but " i " do.
As the DLC seem too short for it's price, i would consider buyng it only if ME3 is like ME1 and ME2 on the "replayability value", if not, then i won't buy it. Meaning, no day 1 dlc for my first ME3 playthrough... i intend to be carefull.
No need to say it will seal the fate of all future ME3 dlc in my case, i would never invest extra money on a game i wouldn't bother play more than once or twice.

People not buying this game just for the 1st day DLC is a bit silly though. Buy standard edition, finish your Shep's story and join us all in multi player. Have fun chum. You're making too big of an unimportant deal. There's passion, then there is overzealous. 500+ pages. Hoo boy.

Yeah, its not like all the claims about the DLC being produced separately are lies and a good deal of the DLC content is proven to be already on the gamedisk.

Yeah I remember that from last night. Very funny how he views the current species.

Why would I do that, when multiplayer cram-on, and all its implications for the game, is one if the reasons I'm not purchasing ME3 to begin with?
