So as we are all aware of Bioware and EA has decided that a small portion of the game is to be sold for 10 bucks to anyone that doesn't buy the Collectors Edition or the Digital version. Now numerous people are calling for bycotts such as TotalBiscuit. And some people are calling for us to pirate this game. Now the first solution burns me, because i want this game and i'm sure a lot of people do as well. So therefore temptaiton alone, i wont' be able to hold out. On the other hand the idea of pirating is appealing but still, its illegal and doesn't quite solve the issue in itself. Also it just gives EA more ammuniation to throw at us.

But there is a third solution, which is legall and ironic. We dont have to boycott this game, we just need to hold out long enough so we can start buying the game used. We get our game, albiet a little later, the brick and motar stores get their money and EA and Bioware, they get squat. And lets face is, they consider second hand sales worse then pirating. We can perform a legal action while irriating them to no end and we can even make the pirates look good. Which is funny and sad in its own right.

A line needed to be drawn sometime ago, and we didn't so we might as well start doing it now, or else we'll be really screwed.

So it comes down to this. Buy used. We get our game, and they bleed financially untill they get their act together again.
