Honestly i think Phantoms are great enemies, Everytime i see one I can't help but say "OH SH-- A PHANTOM", Their not to hard to kill and Not to easy as long as you got down the perfect technique.

My Krogan Soldier loves Phantoms for breakfast. He goes all giddy when he hears a teammate say "Phantom!". The hunt begins. Unlike the Asari wimps, he doesn't fight far away with Stasis & warp, he runs after them.

An "I Love Atlases" thread?

Well, it's difficult to hug an Atlas. Although sometimes they hug you, after you're lying incapacitated on the ground and there's no assault troopers around to stomp your head.

I really have to say Phantoms are not overpowered. It's an enemy that for the careless is about on par with a human player, because they have enough tools to make up for the fact they're just an AI. And although I haven't faced them on gold yet, you can solo them even on silver. (As I said in my beginning poem, overload, then spam them with pistol shots. You can do this even while they're cloaked, just pay attention to where the shimmer is.)

Plus, they are just damn sexy. Nemeses may have dat ass, but they aren't nearly as lethal as these lithe liliths.

They are a very well crafted enemy. Very dangerous to fight, strikes fear into your heart, but not unfair. When I get killed by one, it's because I screw up, not because it's cheap. Well, except on Gold, but Gold is made to be very very hard and some cheapness is expected. Only thing you could change is make their ranged attack a bit less damaging, but really don't do anything else. I know my team is ill-prepared when we wipe at wave 7 when 2 or more Phantoms slice us to pieces. It means we need to improve.

Sometimes phantoms are immune to stasis. Thats where the real girl-on-girl action begins.
