Everyone kinda get's diminished no? isn't that the point of Gold? Widow for example doesn't kill with a headshot  on gold anymore, even from cloak.

Lets just say on Bronze, vanguard is godmode.
Silver - really, really good
Gold - really good/good
Assuming a good vanguard player. So yes, you're right. They're nowhere near useless though.

A Drell Vanguard would be useless on Gold imo, all Vanguards I've seen depend on Nova to survive after a Charge, a power the Drell lacks, not to mention the weaker shields.

Actually I cant see how a 200% bonus is better to 160% bonus... Range is one thing, then again charging will get you very close to the enemies

Why not use cluster frags after charge? They are pretty powerful.

My setup right here though I regret ever putting a point into shockwave (whats it called?) I remembered it being stronger in the first game though.

1) Asari Adept
2) Slarian Infiltrator
3) Human Engineer
4) Turian Sentinel, or any of the previous ones listed.

It might not make much of a difference to a Drell, but the faster you can charge, the easier it will be to keep living. Especially against Atlas'.

Agreed. I do not see any usefulness to Shockwave at all.

Yes they do, also damage and power is huge, kills anything else except atlas/phantom/turret if aimed good. In silver, cant remember how it is in gold

Didn't knock people down for me, just staggered enemies.

I dont know the damage of nova but the damage of grenades is something like 1000-2000 sorry cant remember more exact number, and the power is 2000

I'd go with:

- Krogan Soldier
- Asari Adept
- Salarian Infiltrator
- Turian Sentinel

Seems like that team has a very balanced group of skills, and could complement each other well for tasks on gold.

Then the grenades do more damage than one Nova, not sure if you spec the Vanguard to be able to do 2 Novas right after a charge though. I still prefer Nova, simply because you can use it indefinitely.

Would be my ideal line up for the demo. Turian Sentinel could work too for the Human Engineer.

You can replenish grenade supply at the ammo crate once in a while, but yeah, you can fire nova a lot more.

I don't like Vanguards all that much. Adepts are better at biotics and I'd rather have a Krogan on my team running at guys, since they have more health and better offense.

Asari Adepts are good at taking out Guardians too. I can probably kill one in about three seconds with Throw and a few headshots. Also, Stasis + Warp is good crowd control, since everyone nearby will be frozen.

They work. But play a human and tell me that they aren't leagues more effective.
