Anyone know if it's been confirmed whether or not you can continue playing after the story ends in ME3? I've searched the net for it but I can't get anything. I hope if you survive you can keep going like in part 2, but I haven't heard one way or the other. I've been sidelined in the hospital for a month so I've missed a ton of news.

I would highly assume that it's possible to play the game like in ME2 after the main story has ended, but this is just a guess.
Since I'm pretty sure there is alot of smart people working with Bioware, and since it was possible in ME2 perhaps for a reason, I would strongly guess that it's going to be in ME3 for a reason aswel.

Yes. Casey Hudson confirmed this many months ago, and no one has ever unconfirmed it.
