I like to think the denizens of the ME universe learned their lesson with krogan, anyway.
Besides, if the Yahg don't have spacefaring tech yet, they'd only serve a decent role as ground troops--brutal and incooperative ground troops, given their disposition. I don't think it's really worth it, to be honest. I'd rather mount gattling guns on a pack of elcor, armor them up, and call them living tanks. At least the elcor know how to take orders.

i think there will be a choice similar to how the salarians introduced the krogans to advanced technology. your shepard might be able to:
1. control the Yahg and make them do your dirty work (renegade)
2. compromise with the highly inteligent species and convince them that they should help fight the reapers. (paragon)
or
3. leave them be since they are too much of a threat to the galactic community and another krogan rebellions might happen. (neutral?)

The only way I personally see the Yahg is the Reaper modified versions. They are a pre space flight species so they won't be able to contribute much in the way of material assets (weapons, ships, ect,)in the short time you have to rally the galatic civs, as far as recruiting them as soldiers, maybe a small chance.

I hope we see more Yahg. The boss fight in LoTSB was amazingly entertaining.

I remember seeing a screenshot of a yahg on Sur'kesh. I have no idea the context of the situation though, so don't ask me what he was doing there.
