Is it possible to (successfully) romance multiple characters at the same time? For example, if I were female and wanted to romance all three of the available options at once, is it possible?

At what point are you forced to choose between two romances? I'm at 75 approval with Alistair and about 50-odd with Zevran but not slept with either of them. I've heard that at some point Alistair will ask you to choose between them?
