Listen, I understand why some people are angry about the DLC etc. But is there anyone out there thats looking forward to playing the game as much as I am? I'm happy I have the CE pre-ordered and am looking forward to whats included with it, and hopefully, if I so CHOOSE, I can purchase the other content if its available. I don't think I've seen a game picked apart, analyzed, and dissected as much as ME3, and rightfully so with the leaks, DLC etc. And some people are just passionate about the game and want it to be perfect. Long story short, I can't wait for march 6th and I havent been this excited for a game in along time.Image IPB

I'm so excited for ME3 I'm having a hard time playing other games to pass the time right now. Even my ME2 Femshep game I need to finish is suffering because I keep jumping back into the ME3 MP to feed the urge xD

Be gone with your positivity, it doesn't belong here on the BSN ;)

Just kidding of course.

It's March 9th for me :crying: but yes I'm looking forward to finally playing the full game

A happy, positive topic? Pre-order cancelled!

Seriously, yeah I'm pretty psyched about this game. I'm an oldie too (relative to most of you young'ns) at 40. I haven't been this excited about any game. Ever.

I'm so excited!!!!!!! Even though I might not get it until the 18th because Amazon is slow and I live in the middle of nowhere. I will assume direct control of the beautiful Collectors Edition.

I'm really happy this thread exists... everyone is posting about all the problems in the demo and with the DLC and everything, but I think the demo is amazing, and I don't think people who don't get the DLC will be missing anything vital.

ME3 March Madness countdown has begun. (Alliteration woo!)

Yeah, I'm incredibly excited for the game. March 6th can't get her fast enough. Work days are going to be unbearable for those first few days.

Here are my reasons why I've pre-ordered ME 3.

Beaten and Platinumed PS version of ME 2- check
Saw E3 footage despite the Xbox 360 stuff and still said awesome- check
Reapers invaded Earth- Check
Saw the MP footage- Check
Playing the Demo SP- Check
Playing MP and seeing races options please note I wanted Volus so I can rebirth Tiax into ME 3- check
Seeing the FemShepard footage and go oh yeah my FemShepard who ended up ticking everyone off and did something wrong to the base in the minds of good guys- Priceless check.

Those are my reasons I am amped for getting ME 3. Just FemShepard playing again on Insanity is going to be priceless.

I'm only 26 but i've been a bio fan since BG1. Played all of their major rpgs except jade empire - cos my xbox broke :(
I almost failed several papers at uni cos of Dragon Age.
DA:O, Mass effect 1 & 2 are right up there with ultima underworld, ultima 7, Planescape torment and BG1&2 as some of my all time, most-played games.
I have been scouring the internet everyday for a fix of info to quell my addiction.
I am astoundingly excited for ME3. I don't give a sh*t if it's been 'dumbed down' or the fact that spacebar does everything (and gets me killed a lot in MP) - I just want to experience the STORY of my idealistic do-gooder Shepard, and his evil sociopathic counterpart.
My friends and I have a weekly lan since gaming online sucks ass - and even though it's online, the fact that there's a private game function means that weekly geek night (usually either D&D or lanning the older CoD games and Comapny of Heroes ad-infinitum) has been replaced by "lets play another couple of matches of ME3, then gather round each other's pcs and see what we got in our veteran packs for xmas"
Our girlfriends and wives must hate us...

Nice to see a thread like this amidst all the various bits of nerdrage. I'm very much looking forward to ME3. Can't wait for that Collector's Edition to come in the mail! It's been years since I've been genuinely excited for a game enough to preorder one, and I'm even more stoked after the demo.

Even my hatred for Origin can't stop me from wanting this game. Hell yes I'm excited but then again we're all just biodrone fanboys so who cares right? :P

I prefer the term BioMech.  More masculine and sci-fi.

And I'm ready for it to be the 6th.  I really need something to keep my mind engaged from reality for a bit that I will enjoy.

I can't wait... I am counting the days down (13 more!!)

I have to stop myself from thinking about it to make the wait bearable, but just imagining playing the game, experiencing the different mechanics and the enhanced rpg elements, interacting with all the characters, unraveling each of the storylines in ME, and how they all come together... ahhhhhhh!

yea, I can't wait

 Yes I am excited.

I try not to go into games with (too much) expectations. At a risk of sounding like a BioWare cheerleader, I will say that I've played the majority of BioWare rpgs and haven't been disappointed yet. I am a console gamer and I like good combat in my rpgs so I don't mind.

My only gripe is that I haven't finished Skyrim yet, currently hooked on Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, have yet to finish my Elf Mage run in DA:O, and wanted at least ten Sheps by ME3 (and only have eight). Awww well, that's where replay value comes in ^_^

It probably will not be the caliber that Mass Effect 1 had for me BUT I do believe it will be better than ME2 (which I liked, not loved). So being second favorite in the trilogy is not a bad thing.

Now can March 6 come soon enough so I can take ME3 home for spring break?
