Now I just have to decide which of my 4 ME2 Sheps I'm gonna do my inaugural playthrough with. That will be a tough call.

I can't wait... I am counting the days down (13 more!!)
I have to stop myself from thinking about it to make the wait bearable, but just imagining playing the game, experiencing the different mechanics and the enhanced rpg elements, interacting with all the characters, unraveling each of the storylines in ME, and how they all come together... ahhhhhhh!
yea, I can't wait
your awesomely articulated post just made the wait even more unbearable, thanks a lot lol
lol you are very welcome!

On a cool side note: I turned 32 in January, the same age as Shepard in the game, if I've done the math right. Apropos.

Yeah same here. I downloaded a bunch of stuff to "keep me busy" while I wait for ME3. I have yet to beat any of them....
I'm pretty excited. Have my CE for 360 paid off. I am trying to not play too much of the multiplayer because everything will be reset when the actual game comes out. If I got something cool I know it would take me forever to get again just because Murphy's law said so. Like I have a Drell Vanguard in the PS3 version of the demo I downloaded to play with a friend. I doubt I'll get him as easily as I did when I own the game. I did a quick playthrough of ME1 and ME2 as an Adept. I romanced Liara all the way through just to see what happens if you keep a LI for the entire series.
I grabbed the Artbook from amazon and I am so tempted to read through the ME3 section, but it already spoiled some stuff for me so I stuck it on my bookshelf until I beat the game.
Can't wait for March 6th! I haven't been this excited for a game for a while. Feels good.

At the risk of sounding like a crazy person, March 6th is going to be like a mini-promised day after two weeks of grad school hell. Totally looking forward to it!

Yay! More happy people!Okay, so we might be fanboys or fangirls. But, levelling criticism at something that hasn't even been released yet? Adamantly refusing to even attempt the multi-player? You can be a cynic without being a jerk. Just sayin'.
so true. i consider myself pretty cynical in day to day life so i play video games (especially ME) to escape from that. in the instance of multiplayer, at first i was pissed, i'll admit it. Always been more of a singleplayer gamer. The more info that was released, though, the more i thought "well, might give it a try once i've exhausted every SP part of the game." Now with the release of the demo, after i finish my first campaign, i'll probably jump right into the MP cuz its super addictive. Hope people will become a little more open minded (i kno, it won't happen)

I am so looking forward to this game, that I honestly don't think I've been so excited for a game to come out...period. Anyways, thanks for creating this thread, it is nice to be able to just have a positive conversation.
My biggest thing is playing ME3 all the way through the first time with my canon Shepard. Just the idea of playing and not knowing what is going to happen is making me really excited for the game. I've played ME1 and ME2 a bunch of times, so even though I enjoy the story - I already know everything that is going to happen - it will be great to just play and be surprised by all the twists and turns that ME3 will have in store.
That's my 2 cents. 3/6/2012 - get here already! lol

I was actually happy when they announced that the DLC can be purchased by everyone. CE was never available in my country and those online retailers which sell CE either ran out or don't ship here, plus if I import, it will be unreasonably expensive for me. I don't mind paying for it. I don't think that it would be fair for CE buyers if they pay more for something that will be available for free for everyone.

I was the biggest opponent of multi-player. Not here, but just in general. "Bioware, why you gotta do that and push the release date back? Blablabla."
"Oh. Horde mode-like, you say? Hmm."
"Oh. We can play as alien races? Hmm."
"YES! Demo! FemShep! Woohoo!"
"'kay, let's see videos of multi-player. Probably be not that interested."
"You know, that MP looks like a bit of fun."
"Ogawd, what time is it?"
