Welp, at the very least I have rasta Prothean with me, and Liara. Garrus is always cool.

As much as I like Garrus, I'm about sick of having his face (And Tali) shoved in my way during my games and in the promotions.

The only person I'm confused about is Jack. Isn't Jack sort of stuck with Shepard? Where would she go if she's not a squad member? Join up with a band of pirates or something? That sounds retarded, she seemed totally happy to be on Shepard's crew.

Am I crazy, or am I the only one who remembers Casey Hudson saying there are no permanent squad members at some game con or another, E3, or Comic con, or Gamescom or something. Was I stoned and hearing things? Was he not being truthful? Has another announcement been made resending that claim?

He said htere will be permanent squadmates, not as many as the last game, and some missions may be like Shadow Broker where it  ended up with Shep, Liara, and other character you choose like Garrus.

The only thing that bothers me is EDI and the Prothean. It just sounds stupid for there to be a "last prothean that has been in stasis for over 50,000 years". It sounds like a money grabber to be honest. EDI just sounds silly, I would rather have Legion! >

Not even when the leaks have been 100% consistent with everything that's been shown?

Or the fact that the last major leak was in August, and wouldn't offer up enough time to change things?

Yep, I read about all this stuff, but other than prothea, nothing has got my hopes up higher than my simple appreciation for bioware and ME (don't care for EA). And it's not a "they could change what's leaked" it's a "what's "leaked" could be wrong, and I'll believe it when I see it."

And what's the deal with EDI? Unless she can download herself into a mech or a Geth, I don't see how she could be a squadmate.
