If you send them off into the SP after maxing them out, you'll run across them.

Because why the hell not.
If they took the time and effort to implement it they could have taken the time and effort so other players could see the name.

Origin name/gamertag: Unique, consistent even if player changes class.Crimson-Engage wrote...

Character name: Not unique, can be changed easily.
And no, it does not take "time and effort" to throw in a textbox.
Can't you get pissed off about something that's a bigger deal, like day one DLC or Revenant nerfing?

Actually, the character names are semi-unique, in that you're not allowed to have two multiplayer characters with identical names at the same time. You can't name both your Turian Soldier and your Turian Sentinel "Saren," for example - you'd have to change the name of the first before you could give that name to the second. Given that the names don't appear to have any use other than for the player's reference, it seems an odd restriction.AdmiralCheez wrote...

I think it would have been nice if you were referenced by your character's name primarily, with your platform ID in parentheses after it.

Exactly. It doesn't take time or effort to throw in a text box. It's could be thrown in the game in just a few seconds so why the hell not? I'll tell you why. LAZY.
Why would I get pissed off at the DLC or Revenants? My views about it are obviously different than yours because I see nothing wrong with it. Revenant nerf. What a joke. It's a pos to start with more like it needs a buff.

Its mostly for fun. Fun is rarely seen or discussed these days on BSN, although some of us can recall having it <_<
Exactly. It's for fun. I like my vanguard "Roxy" more than I like my "Level 20 Vanguard" even though theyre the same thing.
