I'm just wondering if the Full game will have anti-cheat protection for the multiplayer, earlier today, I joined a random team from quick match, and I got put into a match where everyone had unlimited ammo and health, and I suspect (although confirmed I believe) that the hoster also edited his character, he was only lvl 2, but seemed to have every skilled maxed out as his asari was just spamming skills every sec. This takes the fun outta the game, and I hope they have something to counter this.
Will the full game have anti-cheat for the MP

It'd be really frustrating if there wasn't anti-cheat, especially since someone pointed out earlier on the PC technical help forum that the unpacking of Recruit and Veteran Packs was handled client-side.

Lolwut?
BioWare didn't really implement loot drops(so to say) without (at least) server verification, did they?

Every game run from Origin has full anticheat. All it has to do is checking files for integrity and start banning for modified files. For which there is no reason in the demo, as its goal is just to promote the game. EA is interested in people playing full game, not the demo.

Doesn't Origin include PunkBuster?

It's a demo and already has hacks? Wow, those guys work fast

Actually, this may stem from a glitch. In a match a few hours ago, one of the members basically stood at the extraction zone blinking endlessly but otherwise did nothing, couldn't move or anything. While I do not know about my teammates, I was basically invincible. Every hit was basically healed in an instant, save turret fire. When the match ended the aforementioned guy was gone, as in no experience.
Strange game. Too bad the team sort of sucked.

So I will bump this thread with my screenshot i took a minute ago

this salarian infiltrator (ghost_86) had almost every cheat possible. unlimited ammo, no cooldown for his carnifex and claymore (at first i thought he had pistol), contact mine oneshoting Atlases, no cooldown for skills, energy drain affecting whole rooms, aimbot, etc etc. There was at least forum topic for reporting cheaters in bfbc2, will there be something in ME3? Paraphrasing well known tf2 spray - "Create a server and cheaters will come"

I think there will be a way to stop cheaters in full game

I hope it does. Otherwise I will not play random matches.

He had an aimbot? i find that a bit hard to believe.

Its probably just a single-player trainer that happens to work in MP. This happens in some co-op games where players don't compete, its a lot of work to put in anti-cheats.
Since you can just leave the game and name-shame them, sort of self regulating. Since it isn't vs, not really that big a deal.

Yesterday I entered a gold match where a Krogan Soldier was wielding a Widow and spamming Carnage nonstop. Somehow we still didn't get past wave 5.

It's not too surprising, those kinds of hacks are common in a game that involves shooting. I played a match last night where someone was using an aimbot. It was very obvious he was using one. Although the hack seemed a little crude since it seemed like he still had to manually aim to kill an enemy. Normally I picture an aimbot instantly snapping to an enemy's head and the player just shooting.ncknck wrote...
