I would tell the council to ****off and put a bullet in each of their heads, then meet up with Anderson and beat the sh*t out of Udina and tell everyone I thought he was a husk.
I would then destroy all mass relays because Shepard is a xenophobe...jk Wrex and garrus are awesome but Udina and the council are dicks.

If done the way it was in Origins, meaning optional then yes there should be a way to die but still defeat the Reapers. Mandatory death would make it possibly the most disappointing ending I will ever play in a game. Besides hes already died once.
