Irony, the Asari -who is pretty much chomping at the bit to bed you- and the Salarian -classic space cadet who wants to believe- dismiss your claims ... and the turian takes your side saying that their here there is no point in denying their existence and goes to get the turian fleet sent to earth or atleast provide soem support and then stuff goes wrong.

I try to be as paragon as possible. BUT I go renegade when I feel I have to, or I hate that person. With the council it'll be like sweet, sweet revenge.

I can't stand them for not helping with the Reapers, but I also understand where they are coming from. Would you sacifice people just on someone's word? I admit on ME2, they should had notice something was up with people disappearing and the Reaper that attack at the end of ME1. They are stupid for that reason alone. So, I will try to understand them but if they are just in denial about it and not even try to help Earth, I will go Regenade on their ash. >:c

Paragade is the way to go.

Worst offender has got to be when Shep finds Garrus in ME2.

Shep takes Garrus' sniper rifle to scope the mech advance and... firing it is apparently a renegade act?! No, really? You probably kill hundreds of those things. Why is it renegade now? Huh? HUH BIO?

Still.. all blue for me :/

Well, it has to be one or the other, it can't be both. So obviously an aggressive move (with the exception of 'noble' ones like at the end of Overlord) will be more likely to be attributed to renegade. There are paragon interrupts (like pushing that woman out of the way of a bullet on Jacob's LM), and there's no reason why a renegade wouldn't do that one too, but the action had to be triggered by only one type of interrupt, and it is a more 'noble' act, so it's a paragon one.

Hence the joy of playing paragade or renegon.

That one bothers me and times like the armless droid in one of the two bases you have to shut down to take out Atlas base in Overlord DLC. If you shoot it, it's a renegade option?! Huh! It's a mech.

I will go to the council and ask for their help, just as Admiral Anderson asked. Hopefully I will have some video or audio files to play for them. If they say they don't believe and I am on my own I will leave and from then on, they are on their own. No group worth saving needs to be convinced that they need to be saved, and earth doesn't have they luxury of time to wait on the council. Just being pragmatic and I am sure they will understand how resource allocation works in this situation.

In this case taking the high road is a much bigger slap in the face than taking the low road. Nothing needs to be said.

Besides, I'm betting your interaction with the council will be centered around you asking for their help to go save the golden gate bridge. Framing the encounter with some barbaric yawp wouldn't achieve that goal.

If they'd gone with the whole 'reapers don't exist' throughout the entier series then I'd be more forgiving.... but it's just the fact that without someone there constantly poking them to make sure they remembered that they were real they just decided it was easier not to believe in them between games.

An 'Ah Reapers' seems petty, but I'd definetley settle for a 'Have you told them you don't believe in Reapers?'. Just once XD
