 I've been wondering if there is any word on the bonus powers.  Will they have to be unlocked somehow in the game?  I read somewhere they'd be available from the beginning but I'm not sure if that is confirmed.

I asked one of the devs if barrier was in and he said yes. I don't know if we get it at the beginning of the game but they are indeed in.
