N7 level 1? In which case unless your a cheating hacker you've only got 1 character made and they only level 1 either that or you don't seem to understand what N7 level 1 means? I am going to guess the former in which case I couldn't care less because I'd rather play with my own skills rather than be a cheating little lowlife.

Did run into this one **** day or so ago though. Kept spamming Stasis at Atlases. Asked em why, suggested maybe Warp + Throw for some Biotic Explosions to up his dmg. Said I was an idiot. Re-asked why stasis, seems to think Stasis + Overload = Tech Bursts on Atlases.
Tried it my self later, I can't get Stasis + anything to tech burst, let alone function at all on an Atlas. I still hold i could be completely blind on this and its actually 'doing' something but I just don't see it. Either way bound to run into some jack ass eventually you know?

On two separate platforms (360 and PC) I've created public games only to have no one fill them. I've been trying to play with my friends, but it's only been 1 at a time. So for 2 of us to get into a game and rock out having some fun.. is almost impossible. Sure, we could duo some stuff, but it's more fun to have a full squad of 4.
So what's the strat? You hit quick match, hope to enter a lobby with only 3 players and invite your friend in. The whole night, I just spent joining matches only to take a fast exit until I found one with only 3 players.
Marshalleck has it right too, although it's not too bad now, but at the beginning most new people to the demo didn't see the "pull right trigger" or "hit space bar" to show you're ready. When playing solo at the release of the demo, I did this too.
It's not snobbery, it's just people want to play, and sometimes we want to play with our friends. However the tools are not all there, and can you really blame BW? It's a freakin' demo. I'm just making the best of a good situation. Hopefully release will be awesome.
Looking forward to ME3.

Welcome to online gaming era,
where everyone plays perfect and thinking everyone else is worse then them.
This is similar in every multiplay game. Find some friends playing ME3 and play with them, thats the you avoid snobs.
Unfortunately the above is true, and I don't see ME MP being any different. The best thing you can do is find like minded people, befriend them and play with these guys
I myself hate online snobbery it really rubs me up the wrong way. I can waltz through ME (1+2) now on Insanity with any class. Back when I started playing however many moons ago, I started on casual as I was new to these type of games (Yes normal was actually too hard for me back then believe it or not !!!)
I personally don't care who I play with. I don't care if I have to up my game a bit to help out a newer player or a player with a lower level. Its part of the challange for me. Online leaderboards, kill rates, what level I am etc is completely irrelevent to me, they mean nothing. I would prefer to play a good team game and loose, then suffer through an ego battle and win.
I'm not saying my mentality is the right one, I'm just saying your better off taking the time to find players with a similar mentality to yours (no matter what that mentality is)
To me it's just a game, its there to be enjoyed
EDIT: Having said that single player is not just a game, its life or death and should be treated with the utmost seriousness - Earth is depending on you

Exactly.
Thats a good attitude to take. All this 'Ieave is someone under level ....' enters the lobby is tragic. If the players coming out with this stuff were half as good as they think they are, they would be able to compensate for the beginer.
So someone at under level 10 comes in, perhaps you have to spend some time watching their back and reviving them and god forbid, you might get a lower score than usual.
The thing is guys, it's a co-op game helping other players esspecially ones at a lower level is part of the challenge, if you can't do that then you aren't quite as amazing at mass effect as you think you are, whatever your n7 rating is.
More to the point, its a demo, a chance to sample the game, most people will just jump on to get a feel for the game, they wont spend time leveling up there character because .... its a demo. Who are you to say they can't try out the silver challenge.

i only leave lobby when the map chosen is not " unknown " cause i don't want a replay same map over and over ( unless i join and become leader i change it ) other then that il stay in game with whoever their is
When you play with that you get +10% exp bonus.
Not to mention thanks to that you don't have to play the same map over and over again.

Lately I started playing with my female human Vanguard and in 8/10 lobbies I join at least one person quits. I'm guessing it's because I'm a low level and or a Vanguard because most of the other players are high level Adpets, Engineers etc.
What's worse is I'm only playing Bronze challenges. I'm a very careful player. In my last four games I went down only twice, but had to revive quite a few other players.
Is this what's to come of the full game? Snobs in every lobby just looking for other high level players of the classes they deem are worthy?
It could be the fact that your room is not full. Sometimes your room just doesn't get filled with a fourth person. In that case, people tend to leave since it's kinda pointless to play a game with less than 4 people. (It's not that hard, sure, but if they wanted challenge, they would have been doing silver.)

My theory on picking out brand new players is this: 2 weapons equipped (with a couple exceptions) = new player. 1 weapon equipped = experienced player. It's far from foolproof, but surprisingly effective.
I have no problem carrying low level players through Bronze matches. You have to level up somehow. However, I won't play Silver with characters under level 10 unless I know the person and I know they're skilled. I prefer to have everyone over 15 for Silver, and 18+ for Gold.
I've 2manned silver before as engineer/engineer and engineer/adept. Carrying level 1's through bronze is a refreshing change of pace =)

True, helping a newer player is a challenge, I had to change my playstyle constantly because of those new players, that is a good thing, It might make YOU a better player in the future. Certainly did with me.
You can find a lot of nice players here on BSN, for PC at least, I didn't look for console threads. Recently I was playing a silver match with a friend from here, I made a horrible mistake (really, I was tempted to just stop playing after that). Know what he did? Laughed for half an hour and tried again. That kind of thing is what the MP community needs (and lacks) the most.
