since last saturday i have found this problem on the demo that prevents me almost to play.
In the middle of a game the keyboard suddenly disconnects, like i have physically disconnected it from the pc, and after 2-3 secs it reconnects. This happens every 20 secs ca. but it frequency increases when i keep on playing, eventually leading to a BSOD, the only one I read was "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR" and the driver was ntfs.sys, But either a RAM test with a live linux distro, or a scandisk, of a "sfc /SCANALL" returned me a single problem. I tried also manually setting the paging on hard disk, instead of letting the pc manage it automatically, but the problems is still here.
If I Alt-tab from the game to desktop while it has problems, the keyboard works perfectly with no problems, but when i return ingame the issues comes back.
It is not a real disconnect of the keyboard, because it's a Logitech G110 and I have audio connected to it, and still I can talk and listen to the others via voice chat.
I tried changing the usb port, it does the same thing.
I tried changing keyboard, same problem.
I rolledback my ati 4870 drivers, still the problem is here.
From the configurator I lowered the graphic quality, still problems.
I tried playing Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect to see if the problem was there and Yes, it was a problem also of these 2 games, which I played on this system configuration without a single problem.
I thought maybe it was a problem of Unreal Engine 3, so I tried UT3, but there was no problem playing that.
My system is a AMD Phenom™ II X2 550 Processor, 4GB ram, ATI Radeon 4870 (CATALYST 12.1) 1GB VRAM, using Windows 7 x64
