No. Also, I find that threatening their families also gets them to listen to you.

I was disappointed when I heard about EDI's body. I liked the discoball, it was charming. Plus, A. the Normandy was a pretty kickass body and B. it should have been blockier like the LOKI mechs or something. I don't recall seeing anything like EDI in the previous games.

"The universe as we know it is coming to an end! What shall we do? Spend the rest of our time developing weapons or strategies to survive? Nah, let find a way to put an AI in to a hot body."

(also I love Joker so much and a JokerEDI relationship makes me cringe so hard. so very hard)

Well, one way to think about it is that Lokis are built for utilitarian purposes; essentially cheap, mass produced weapons. They don't need to look pretty, they just need to function. I'd think of EDI as being designed more along the lines of an android, which is meant to be more pleasing to the eye. Whether I end up liking her inclusion in this form or not will have to wait until the game comes out.

As for Joker, he needs lovin' too. We all knew he was a bit "off" anyways...

I haven't seen a single part of the fanbase on this forum that hasn't whined ad infinitum about something they feel is "wrong". Not one.

It still is curious/odd that they invested funds in giving her a body (characters in the game not BW). Though maybe I'll grow to appreciate it more if they are funny facial expressions to go along with EDIs sense of humor.

In fact, I have the first reply in her support thread, IIRC, stating how I like EDI in ME3.

Just because I don't like the look, doesn't mean I hate it or her. Visually its nice I just don't think it fits with what's happened in the story so far. AIs are things to be hidden unless you want a Geth reaction.

Also her 'disembodied voice' look serves to feed my personal OTP

I like her new look but she didn't need to be a squadmate to have a body. I would have preferred Legion, Mordin, Grunt, Miranda or Jack in that order. But oh well I'm willing to give her a chance......even If she doesn't ever leave the ship...

Considering she noticed the "questionable extranet sites" that Joker visited........and most likely sites that are of sexy women.....EDI *may* have had some sort of "say" in how her 'disembodied" look would be.  Perhaps she wanted to look 'nice' for Joker.....

This. While I'm currently neutral on her current body, I would like to cover up her chrome body and face with polymer skin. Especially considering why EDI has a body in ME3.
