Have we come so far to have prejudices about a ingame character? It is a poor world we are living in. You do not know anything about him but you want him dead? Are you thinking the same about your neighbor?
Yeah, I find this bit strange too. I rarely hate characters, ESPECIALY before I know what they are like.

Batman was talking about Kaidan, not Vega.
But people wanting Vega dead for [insert reason] is still mind-numblingly moronic. Not to mention a little psychopathic.

Truthfully, there is a lot of questions that could asked from the desire to kill off a character. Psychological desire to commit acts in reality without consequence perhaps? An oppertunity to act out subconcious (or even concious) predjudices?Major League wrote...

its a video game, everyone thinks of shooting, killing and blowing stuff up. Doesn't have psychological problems. why do you think video games are popular in the first place?

COD - yeah. Story and character driven - not so much. Regardless, I never said it was the reason. I said it might make for an interesting study. I mean, in the past, games were essentially characters (both the player, allies and enemies) were faceless characters. You stomp on the goomba to rescue the Princess. Games are becoming more like movies and television shows with story arcs and characters that are very life like. Entering into uncanney valley in terms of characterization where these questions come up.Major League wrote...
